No ins co can deny med care as they are NOT med prov. Ins is a product you can buy to avoid risk, period. You can get any med care you want w/o ins but are you willing to pay for it? Should doctors & hospitals provide their services for free?

The public option will NOT be free. It will cost YOU in premiums, med bills & taxes - its NOT a magic bullet. Where will $ come from to pay for everyone & everyhing? Grow up people - the government is not your mommy and no one owes you anything.

CA needs to know their facts. Blue cross raised its rates 39% only to cover the millions of dollars they've been taking as a net loss over the past few years. Not to mention not everyone in CA getting the 39% markup...only 700K of the many millions that have coverage thru BCBS. Plus they submitted the increase in November...y are we hearing about it in February?........ObamaCare on its last leg?...I think so.

Poor insurance companies.... billions are just not enough for them. Wait until YOUR coverage is denied or rescinded (or your kids is), then you'll be singing a different tune. Trust me... you'll be crying your eyes out from the unfairness. If you can write such a post, you and your family has not yet been touched by this tragedy. Count yourself lucky.... and knock on wood. I'm right with you, here in Chicago. The insurance company rescinded my husband's policy one week after his approved surgery. And they haven't had the decency to call him directly to tell him, I learned about the cancellation through a third party phone call. There are medical bills of $100,000.00. that they are ducking.
