Matt...I miss you, but even in heaven your still helping us here. I play basketball for my school, I never got to play alot in games, there were many I didnt even get to play in. Before a game I was in the locker room and I was looking at a picture of you. I broke down in tears, and when we stepped out to play my name was called in a clutch part in the game. I ended up having 16 pts after the game i broke down in tears, and I knew Matt had helped me that day and I will never forget it. RIP Matt
The missionary work is commendable and deserves not only respect, but support and encouragement. We should thank God for the lives of all these boys and store in the heart every move that he made in love and obedience to God.

I met Matt when I was very young, maybe around eight, but when i first met him he took a liking to me. My cousin who intoduced us says we looked just alike. I only met him once but in some way he is family to me and now his picture will stay in my wallet until god takes me to be with him. R.I.P Matt you will never be forgotten
I am a random Brazilian LDS who learned about the sad departure of Elder Knoop, whom I never met in this life. Thank you all for the oportunity to join in your prayers. Thank you mothers and families who send your precious young boys to bless us here... Your sacrifice is a true demonstration of the pure love of Christ. I can't find the words to describe the many miracles I have seen in these lands and in my own life thanks to humble people like you... May the Lord repay you manyfold and forever.
This is so sad. I miss him so much, he was my cousin and everyday I cant stop thinking about all the wonderful things he has done for me and the smiles he brought everyone throughout his life. Thank you so much for putting this together it is greatly appreciated. We love Matt!

O thats nice. Did u go to his viewing, it made me very sad seeing his body because thats not the Matt we all remembered. Btw he was my cousin.
