  • I've beaten this game more than once but I hated this boss the most.

  • Why do they keep reusing this damn boss!

  • megaman 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,or megaman x1,x2,x3

  • michelle 0bama = yellow devil

after she fell into a vat of toxic waste and mutated...

....she all deformed and even more fugly

  • whats name its that megaman?

  • The song of this boss is equal to her of shadow devil

  • Megaman - Yellow Devil

  • 99% of the haters have never played a legitimate copy of this game. Bought mine off eBay and it's truly Genesis gold.

  • The things I would do to get a copy of Mega Man the Wily wars for my Sega Genesis, the game may be slow and laggy but I'd still want it.

  • @TheScorpionMK37 I had to go the reproduction cart route. Someone made me a cart with clamshell, original artwork (including a nice Genesis logo on the side of the front cover), and a manual. The guy also fixed the save issue with the PAL version, game runs correct speed on a US Genesis too, plus Wily Tower is accessible once you finish all 3 games. Ran me about $60 though, it may not quite be an original copy, but it plays and that's all that counts.

  • A wild hitmonlee appeared... Go, Megaman!

  • No damage.

    Buster ONLY.

    FINAL DESTINATION.

  • @QuartrGuy I don't know if you forgot NO SOUL or NO LIFE, but I think this is not the case. :B

  • the pieces look alot slower in the genesis version

  • @dc1313drc they arent slower, they are LAGGED (i cant belibe genesis lags so easy)

  • try doing this on the snes.

  • Uhh yea, you took a damage.

  • @AllxAroundxSupreme it was before the fight started. he didn't say he did the whole stage wth no damage

  • @mcrobsesser003 it has the eye*shivers*

  • @mcrobsesser003

How is it terrible? It's just the first three megaman games. I guess all the dislike for MM7 I can at least figure out, even if I don't at all share it myself. But this just strikes me as bashing it because the graphics are to pretty. (Which I wouldn't put past MM fans unfortunately.)

  • @TheSkunkCat we don't like this version of the game because of things like the slow plasma shots, some of the music sounds horrible and other stuff.

  • Wait, what mega man game is this?

  • @madsli The Wily Wars for the Genesis

  • The Yellow Devil is MUCH easyier in Wily Wars!

  • @DeathStar17101999 just slightly, but only cuz this version is abit slower, but i think this version seems more balanced to me, cuz they yellow devils eye stays almost the same place everytime, unlike the nes where it can be too high and impossible to hit with the buster, so yeah i like this guy in wily wars more, the other diffrence is he close the eye faster in wily wars!

  • @mcrobsesser003 Nothing can beat the originals, but I loved this compilation. Had to emulate it though, since Sega decided to only release it through the frickin' Sega Channel here. :\

  • Is this some sort of enhance wiiware verson?

  • nothing compared with the nes version.

  • @yusukeelric Yeah, i can't beat the NES version, but this one i never take damage because it's easier.

  • Easy solution:Get a f****n vacuum cleaner and clean up dat mezz

  • ah the old days when it maded us old kids yell and scream at the Tv and and maded us want to smack the tv.

  • @LucianMaximusify play jak 2, and youll get one of those "nostalgic momoents"

  • This version of yellow devil seems much harder than the others.

  • what megaman is this!!!!!

  • @dcconnect1

It's the remake of Mega Man for Mega Man: The Wily Wars for the Sega Genesis. It included remakes of the first three Mega Man games, and a short extra game called Wily Tower.

  • the yellow devil from megaman powered up is much more harder, since you can see which piece of him is moving (unlike this one where you can see which part is about to move

  • should have done the REAL MEGAMAN YELLOW DEVIL. Its harder.

  • This is one creative boss.

  • why does this look so fake what is this

  • @anostrichkilledyou its a megaman game that has the first 3 games but with better graphics

  • yellow devil looks creepy in this game. and he has music that suits him well

  • Sega does what nintenDONT... but it sure as hell cant do what nintenDOES.

  • @ristar600 Genesis does what NintenDON'T, but Nintendo is what GenesISN'T.

  • @SigmaXVirus yeah, that's better.

  • @SigmaXVirus

    Sonic Badass

    Mario Fatass.

  • @KennethMoreland

    You Dumbass

  • Lol this version a child's play compared to the NES one due to massive slowdowns

  • black devil is harder

  • @garchompsharpedo

Nope, walljump while he's metrialising and go down after he is whole, shoot him, while he is shooting parts... duck.... easy!

  • both the music and the boss seem incredibly half-arsed :s

  • I will say the music does sound cleaner, but going from 8 bit to 16 bit...you'd expect it to.

  • bumomomomomomomomomomo!!!!!!!!!!

  • This looks a lot harder than in normal megaman 3, very nice!

  • @Harzzaa

    Yes it's Mega Man 1...

And a ten times easier cheap copy of it, too...

  • real men don't pause trick.

  • The Yellow Devil from Megaman 3 was easier than this one.

  • you know megaman's life is down a bit so the name is wrong

  • the music just LOOPS Dx

  • @Bleumange It's supposed to...

  • @KoruKinshi 13 seconds of an uninspired theme looping countless times is hardly an equal to the half life 2 soundtrack ^^

  • @Bleumange What does Half-Life 2 have to do with *ANYTHING* in regards to Megaman?

At that point, I might as well say that any Star Ocean soundtrack or anything done by Motoi Sakuraba is the best thing to happen to video games, bu it still has nothing to do with this particular soundtrack, which is a timeless classic. o.O

  • @KoruKinshi it doesnt have anything in common, im exaggerating how little effort has been put into it D:

  • @Bleumange Touche. :)

  • Does the pause glitch work for this guy like on NES? I LOLED HARD when i first found that out.

  • harder on the genesis for sure.

  • What's this? a Reamke?

  • @UltimateAnimeGamer mega man the wily wars for the mega drive/sega genesis

  • is it me, or does the music and background seem like they belong to a scary game?

  • O: what where you playing on?

  • @Agumon2509 This is on the Wily Wars , exclusive for Mega Drive/Genesis

  • im sorry but Devil in MM3 was worse cuz being weak to Hard Punch was crap seeing as the wep was so damn slow

  • You have obviously never beaten the MM1 Yellow Devil. The MM3 Yellow Devil is a quarter as hard.

  • actually i've played and beat all megaman 1-9 and X - X8 and i still think MM3 YD is harder than MM! YD

  • Sorry for complaining then. I guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

  • no big man some ppl just have differences in opinions,

  • @Kagebushin01 Use it up close, moron.

  • @315Cyndaquil w/e cocksmoker

  • @Kagebushin01 P****!!

  • @315Cyndaquil whatever

  • I think this version looks easier, the problem the Yellow Devil had for me was the constant pattern thinking which used to drive me mad, when the third/fourth run kicked in I was already dizzy. In this you don't have to necessarily memorize the pattern, you just look what's coming and dodge, even with the pieces closer together it's all skill.

  • To me this looks actually slightly harder than the NES version, since the blocks while moving slower also seem to form a more dense pattern when moving across the screen. It seems like there is less space between them making it harder to jump through the gaps and not hit any of the blocks.

That being said, I don't consider the NES version of this boss hard, and this version don't look too much harder than that.

  • isnt the WiiWare and the NES one the Same?

  • wow the yellow devil pieces move so slow here compared to the NES pieces

  • wow!higher detail

  • as a mega man player, the genesis version is a low down version because ppl who play Sega was complaining, so they did a remake of it on Sega, which shows this pieces of shit here.

  • Try the same on nes. On genesis version it slows down, not on nes :p

  • yellow devil was all ways the hardest since alot of times you had to pretty much watch and wait for his pattern of movement since alot of times all he does is move between to sides of the room and since alot of people tend to have no patiences of fighting him and get killed alot but all and all he all ways goin to be remembered being a tough nerve rakin boss to beat

  • One of the hardest bosses of all time? He looks more annoying than difficult...

  • Yea, I totally agree with MrMK109.

In the NES version (especially the NTSC version which runs 17% faster than the PAL version) this dude is ridiculously hard to dodge since the blocks move at a really hectic pace. There was a really cheap way around it (AKA "The pause trick") but if you refrained from using it this bugger was really hard to beat, especially with just the buster.

I'd rank him as possibly the hardest boss -ever- in any Mega/Rockman game. (Him and the clones MM/RM 1)

  • megaman should get blob abilities 4 beating tht thing :/

  • Fact: He is easier in Genesis version than Nes version because his parts move slower

  • Watching this on mute is a bit hypnotic.

  • on yah, i know that, but it the jumps that make it mard

  • I so damn agree

  • wat version is this??

  • This is megaman for genesis,

  • son of a... i got megaman aniverery colection fot the ps2 and i cant even beat this damn boss -_- still dude, amazing

  • theres a cheap way to beat him

  • how?

  • this is what u do first u use the thunder attack then u repeatedly hit select the bolt will hit him multiple times

  • That's a really cheap way of doing it. And it only works in the NES version.

  • You can with the Thunder Beam.

  • You can shoot him twice in the eye in a row in this version?! I could only register one hit on NES.

  • on megaman powered up you can do it aswell!

shoot the second his eye opens (start shooting beforwe it opens) and just as it closes!

  • Cool!

  • UGH this boss was so tedious

  • Wow, excelent. neither a scratch

  • hardest this boss!!!!

  • they use the same song in megaman x5 when you fight against black devil

  • wtf? whered you get this, and what is it lol? remakes of originals are my favorite XD

  • This is Megaman: The Wily Wars for the Sega Genisis. It's a 16 bit remake of Megaman 1-3 as well as 3 new robot masters you can face exclusively.

  • Ask any hardcore gamer, Yellow devil is an underground legendary boss. Very hard to beat!

  • yeah, he will hold a special place in our hearts...sort of >_>

  • @nastynas9000 the green devil is much easier...

  • @nastynas9000 He is such a boring boss actually every devil boss is boring

they take sooooooooooo loooooooong to form then you can like hit only one bullet

since they make you bored you will mess up :D

  • @nastynas9000

    ....no hes not

he follows the same pattern with the blobs EVERY time.

Once you learn it hes really easy ^_^ even with the buster just long

  • @nastynas9000 this is the hard megaman nes boss for me.

  • How about you do it

  • The eye animation is really lazy

  • Really? It looks the same to me...

  • the blocks move slower in this remake, just like the buster shots.

  • do you guys suggest i start playing original megaman series looks more fun

  • Did you ever play MegaMan Powered Up?

  • Powered Up is a great game. I beat it already, but I keep replaying it just to make fun of the Yellow Devil's voice. XD

  • Why does Sega fail so much at music?

  • Capcom made it, not Sega. For some reason Capcom makes epic music, but fails at remixing it. Listen to Sonic 2 Chemical Plant Zone, or the JP/EU Sonic CD soundtrack and tell me Sega fails at music again.

  • Wouldn't Sonic 2 be Sonic Team's doing?

  • Sonic Team is a part of Sega, so yes.

  • the genesis had a shitty sound processor just 1 step about the NES.

  • what megaman is this??

  • The first, and the hardest boss of all.

  • is for pc or for a emulator?

  • its for nes

  • This version is Wily Wars on the Genesis.

  • Ultra Thanks!

  • are the wily war megamans exactly the same as NES? content-wise i mean minus the tower bonus

  • pertty much but it a bad remake shits all slow like megaman bullets.

  • You can blame that and the crappy music on the Genesis's hardware.

  • awesome job, i hated the yellow devil on my first run alot

  • Anybody that can explain me what is this?? megaman 1 for what console how i can play it???

  • MegaMan: The Wily Wars for SEGA Mega-Drive, the European and Japanese counterpart for the SEGA Genesis. You can play it via emulation. Google Time~

  • thanks dude!

  • Don't mention it. =P If you need help, a good Genesis emulator I know is named "Gens".

  • The Yellow devil looks a bit.. Scary not to mention, His eye. His weird stare looks at your sould

  • XD long ass battle lol

  • is this wily wars for the genesis?

  • yup

  • which version is this?

  • Yeah this version is a lot easier to learn from, the Old NES version of the devil is pratically impossible, overall it's faster.

  • Remember the pause trick? Anniversary doesn't have it.

  • Funny, mine did. It's the only way I really could beat this guy.

  • True, but it's still slower than the original one.

  • Look at that segmentation attack! It's at least three times slower than in the NES version! That's ridiculous!!

  • Keep in mind there is some video slowdown to be considered as well.

  • @Azdrerios Not really. Thsi recording just looks slow to me.

  • no this game is great

  • Horrible remake.

  • i like devils music better in this video the the original one for some resson

  • wily wars sucked

  • Ahhhh. the music is TERRIBLE! The original one is MUCH better. It sounds like it was played by a chinese man with no teeth who smokes grass at the same time... O_O

  • Dont know whats with all the thumbs down here, I agree with this guy. He's not dissing the tune, he's dissing the horrible use of the SNES blips and beeps.

  • idk which version u are playing but if it is the European version there really is a slowdown cause european games are running at 50 FPS while American ones are 60 FPS , i downloaded the rom for this game and noticed the difference especially in all the songs, but the emulator lets you speed it up to american speeds and its much more like the NES ones then.

  • Euope does not play with 50 FPS -_-

  • lol yes it does, its common knowledge that the games of that time in europe ran at a lower FPS than the American and Japanese counterparts

  • Lol you fail. It has nothing to do with the games or FPS but with tv Hrtz:P European tv's used to be 50 hertz instead of 60. The consoles are exactly as fast and so where the games.

  • i apologise you're right it is hertz not fps but it does cause the game and the sound to go slower.

  • hertz is a measure of frequency after all

  • I want a Mega-Drive and Wily Wars <3

  • ummm this doesn't look really like Megaman the graphics are better but good fight :D

  • Its the Wily Wars version. :3

  • You're a great player, but I personally think that the Yellow Devil is somewhat more difficult on NES.

  • It's same thing.

If Yellow Devil "feels" more difficult it's because the controls in Wily Wars are better and more responsive.

  • That version looks terrible, but you di a good job. :)
