It is Ringo, this is the last Ziggy Stardust concert and afterwards, David held a "retirement" party and Ringo Starr attended both the party and the concert, along with several other famous people.

The lady I was hanging with at a photog Bob Gruens b-day party last year was the girl who was dressing David -- she was Mick Ronson's wife, and did the hair, make up and styling for David and Mick. What a nice lady she was when we spent the evening at that party. She told me her daughter has a band now.RIP gorgeous Mick.

Yes, the lady is Sue (Fussey) Ronson. Beautiful person. I spoke on the phone with her recently as I will be bringing her into Cleveland this fall (2009) to meet the press and promote Mick's "Best Sideman" nomination for The Rock Hall. Sue was a hairdresser who began the entire "StarMan" look for David and the rest of the band. She is actually credited with starting the band in that direction. Fantastic history, and a very special time to see this all unfold.

As word spread that Mott was breaking up, David wrote 'All the Young Dudes" which helped keep MTH together for awhile. Mick met Ian during that time and when the breakup occured Ian and Mick formed the Hunter/Ronson band. Check out "Michael Picasso, a song written by Ian for Mick

Sue Ronson is currently working on a Documentary about Mick Ronson's life. She is between NYC and Londong alot putting the finishing touches on it. Release date as of this writing is Fall '09.

After Mick's passing, Ian, Brian May (queen), Mick Ralphs (MTH, Bad Company), Joe Elloit (Def Leopard), John Taylor (queen) and others held a tribute concert for Mick.
