Hmmm, congratulations on not doing any research yourselves. See, had you done any, you'd realize there's actually no evidence the dog ever died at all, that it was only in the exhibit for the 3 hours of one day it ran, then later that night escaped. and that there is evidence that Vargas did feed and water the dog during the off hours of the exhibit. But hey, why research facts when we can spew fiction out all over the landscape? Pathetic... You people should learn to question things.

Your heart is telling you it's real, while REAL evidence suggests otherwise. At what point does your heart tell you to research information? There's NO PROOF that this guy did what you think he did. There's NO ONE that has come forward with proof that he starved the dog, or that the dog even died! There IS proof of someone who accounts that he did feed the dog, and that the dog escaped before he had a chance to die. What part of that do you not get?

Furthermore, you're missing the bigger picture. The dog was put in an exhibit to showcase a bigger problem and paint a point that people will be all up in arms about him displaying an emaciated dog as a piece of art, but won't think twice about an emaciated stray dog. Dogs are sacred to you, you have 5 dogs, you're bitching about this guy and the dog in the art exhibit, but what are you doing to save starving dogs around the world? That's the point! Figure it out!

Also a lot of people say its so people would start feeding animals, that were on the street. I say **** If he really cared, he would feed dogs him self, and post pictures of dogs/paint pictures of dogs starved, not use a real one. Thats like saying the best way to stop child starvation is to get a starting child and tie him up for everyone to watch. He's just saying that to save his ass. He's a sick man.

@oceanx He did this to a poor defenseless dog when he had the opportunity to make a difference and save the dog, but decided to starve it to death for art. He failed as a human being and don't give me the crap that people should've done something. He should've never done it in the first place. Not the whole story. The exhibit included a display of burning crack cocaine and marijuana while the sandinista anthem played backwards. The dog was not starved, he was fed and given water before he was added to the exhibit for about 3 hours.

Mind you, no one tried to "free" him or feed him, during the exhibit. No one called police or the local spca. And when they took him out of the exhibit to rest, he escaped on his own.

ok so im all for what your trying to say but there is a few things id like to point out.now dont player hate and all but a screen shot of the dog did state that it was a stray sick dog.now ive done lots of searches on google and most places say that the dog was actually fed.now i did not go to see this exhibition and i doubt anyone bad mouthing it did aswell so i cannot say that the dog was not fed and neither can anyone else.the fact is the dog was given shelter at least.
