i don't have a problem with Disney making a dragonball movie only if they make chracters reconizable and just enjoyable as pirates of the carribean (first movie only for most people was enjoyable but you catch my drift)

and i can't believe that megumi seki (pocahontas) said yes to play in this movie just because she wants to play in movies over seas, f*cK that's not fair for all those other japanese actress that actually can talk english.i really don't like her anymore.

You may be right, but as of now even ignoring how much better the source material is than the movie, this is horrible nonetheless. I really don't think James Wong has the capability to direct a "good movie" but I'm sure he could have at least made something mediocre.

i would have watched it if it was a dark lord seeking revenge on earth imprisoning him in a bloody jar for 200 or 2000 years

(continued;ran out of characters in previous post)... in the movie he's a high school teen who has day-dreams in class about chi-chi, and he gets bullied(the tiny little kid who single-handedly beat an entire army in the original show is reduced to fighting bullies). as for piccollo .. well he was very poorly developed(i'm pretty sure James Marsters AKA Spike, who is a very good actor was limited because of the script so it really isn't his fail here)

come to think of it (regarding bulma) i think they got her somewhat mixed up with Launch as far as personality goes...maybe they tried to condense two characters into one? if so that was a sad sad idea.. and even if they got bulma right the movie still would suck first and foremost because instead of goku beeing a carefree goofball 7year old living in the woods who thought marriage was a type of food and was so self-confindent and positive thinking that nothing scared him..

Although, maybe Disney would've done a good job with it.... :)

I read that Justin Chatwin, the guy who played Goku, is going to be in the sequel/reboot. It's good to hear that it's at least getting that when such a horrible film came out.

this movie isnt even worth watching online. i mean i TRIED to watch it online and i couldnt watch 5 mins of it. barely any of it had the cartoon's relevance. somehow the streetfighter chun li movie was better, yet sucked almost as much.
