This health problem has been on the table since Ted Kennedy wrote his book and slapped it down and Republicans have ignored it since. They haven't a bill now, they didn't in the Reagan years, they knocked it in the Clinton years and they did nothing in the Bush years. Heath care package for the people, by the people to help the people. What is so wrong with the Post Office? What is so bad with the libraries, the fire departments? What is wrong with government? I'm skeptical about this bill, and I'm canadian! we have supposed universal healthcare here, which is decent.

but america is a different place with 10 times as many people. I'm worried this could hurt more than help if not properly implimented.

Ease the building of coal-fired power stations nearer to national parks.

This Presidential loophole in US law allowed him to put last-minute regulations into the Code of Federal Regulations, rules that have the same force as law. He carried out many of his political aims without needing to force new laws through Congress. Why did he do it you ask? To pay off big business allies of the Republican party AND as a bonus, sabotage the Obama administration.
