ssssssoooo...... im whating all these videos about the earthquake in japan and the peole seem to freak out but.... nothing happens. ... what the heck????
@lanavaca1 I sympathize with you in a sense that unlike fire or tornado etc, a big earthquake is somewhat incomprehensible until you've experienced it. There is something amazing about the feeling you get when the world around you seems to be on the move by a large distance. Our brains aren't geared for it because it's just so untrue - you're caught between disbelieving it and having to accept that it's happening.
the weird moment when you're looking through videos from the earthquake in japan and you find a video from your language school...I know the feeling me and my friend were in Shinjuku that time and we were just confused. Later we went back to KAI and waited with the others. The caretaking of the teachers was really touching! I miss KAI. happy to go back soon!
i don't know what they are laughing about? I have experienced very small, gentle tremors.. and it was very scary, got me nervous, confused and that big quake in Japan ... oh god i can imagine how horrible it must have been. What language are they speaking in this video by the way?
@kivtech88 They are laughing because the guy who is filming said "fyfan vad coolt" (damn how cool) Probably cause here in Sweden we never have earthquake and he probably know that in japan it is kind of normal so being the first time he get to feel an earthquake he think it's cool. But probably not later ofc.
@eloprep Because laughing is triggered when you're panicked. You dumbfuck, Usually a White guy who lives over there probably isn't used to it. You've obviously never felt a Earthquake, Tornado, Hurricane, Bomb, lighting striking out side your window, and flooding like I have. Sometimes laughter comes as a instinct when you are scared. Its alot better then crying like a big baby like you do.
@basque888 You think foreigners dont have family while their in Japan?
At that time I had my girlfriend and all my friends living in Japan.
Its more about a experience you never had before! Scary but fun. And at that time we didnt know how big the earthquake was... You probably didnt even know were Japan was...
I agree with the person recording the video. We had a 7.5 last Easter in San Diego and all my California earthquake training since elementary school went out the window as I sat on my bed and stood up thinking how fun the earthquake was. When I finally went out into the street. Everyone had a huge smile on their face. Mind you a 7.5 is no small quake either. It didn't do any damage in San Diego but a similar one in San Francisco in the 90's dropped the second story of the Oakland Bay Bridge ont
Have you experienced a real earthquake? You would be surprised feeling the building shaking and not always knowing how to react.. Me myself is living in Tokyo and planning to go to Sendai to volunteer , to help people.. What have you done?
i heard the cameraman saying 'damn, how awesome!' if you (the poster of this video) are that person, let me ask you this, do you still think it was cool after all that's happened now?
Ah youth, nothing scares you, every thing is an adventure!

@kivtech88 laughing sometimes could be used as a defense mechanism, to calm yourself down if you are scared

@kivtech88 That's 'cause you are a pussy...
I've been through three 6 and 7 degree earthquakes in my life and I was unfortunate enough to be on the tenth floor in all of them...
It wasn't that scary, you just need to have some self control and not panic and scare yourself like a twit during the event.
Besides, what's the worst that could happen? You die... We all die anyway...
