@alanc12270:50, there is sidewalk next to the road. If you check the address, which is at the very back, you will know. the 1:00 one was put on a grey box beside the bus stop, which I think is used for placing all the electrics for the traffic light right behind the camera. And 1:06, well, on my lap when I am sitting there. Just get the address at the very end for the three locations and google street view it, you will see...
@MichaelsGNAR The timer is 1 revolution per 60 min. So, if you just film 8 seconds, the camera will only pan for 0.8 degrees, which is almost unnoticeable. Is saw some timers that is 1 revolution per 15 mins, then, the camera will pan 3.2 degrees in 8 seconds, which is still very tiny angle.
@tszheichoi Another way to do that is to use some pulley and gear system to speed up the angular velocity of the camera OR you simply use a regular motor and use similar methods to slow down the angular velocity. These methods will give you more flexibility. Anyways, if you just want to film 8 seconds, why not just hold your camera and turn it yourself on a tripod?
dope idea!

@tszheichoi I would like to ask that, how can you take this in Hong Kong. In 0:50, 1:00, 1:06 how can you put the camera.

@sniper887 Just a sony HD camcorder (HDR-CX150). The camera need to be light in order for this to work.
