Mainstream is mainstream for a reason, because they made it; underground has great stuff too. Every band has the same goal, to spread their ideas through their music and make it big. In the end it's all the same. Fuck how mainstream something is, it doesn't matter. No matter how popular or unpopular this song is it's still a damn good song.

I got to say that music that plays on the radio now just doesn't have a lot of heart. I think music is getting desperate if they are just talking about having sex with a girl, and other stupid stuff, it just doesn't make sense half the time now. Ska is awesome because it can be chill, but it gives it that heart like before

I usually listen to hardcore bands such as The Devil Wears Prada or A Day To Remember, but swich to this sometimes, and those bands have heart about god and what life is and what it should be, not having sex or even smoking like what the fuck is that? I love Rise Against but the last time I saw them the bands that opened for them were Alkaline Trio and Bad Religion. How that's justified I have no idea. Yourself and SoxBRoy1 talk about hip-hop like it's a bad thing. Listen to Big L, Deltron, Jedi Mind Tricks, Apathy, or Celph Titled. All music has a mainstream and music that sounds like it has heart doesn't mean it does.

People do just make music now and it has completely changed, but people think that songs are "bullshit" just because the sound or the genre. There are lots of people in the United States right now that are homeless because they have tried to get to stardom but got shot down instead, no matter how much heart because of competition they have

Like the guy in the beginning of the video, I love both punk and metal, metal is able to create a bit of beauty in anger while punk can portray society and politics. I can say I am a rocker, and I love rock music the best, but that doesn't mean I am entirely one sided, some music doesn't have meaning in my eyes, and maybe it is the way it is executed.
