No it didnt have cosworth power from the factory, the cloest to that was the BDA engine in the mk2 RS1800.

Yes it is an engine swap.

Yes it does have a turbo (Garrett T35 standard)

Its a DOHC 2 litre turbo unless its been bored out.

As for power, standard cosworth escort has 220bhp, if its been tuned enough though, you can realisticly double that figure.

@lukeshytalker02 Well cosworth engines are the best for tuning with low budget , we got ourself a 2.9 24v cosworth engine, to get cosworth to around 700 bhp as u told is not easy, try learn again, this engines are capable of making out of 1000 hp, and of course stock engine cant hadle such power, thats why ITS BEEN TUNING... Tuning engine doesnt mean you put a hugeeeee turbo with 100000 hp and leave it, it means u change all small details that handle such torque and temperature in the engine
