@urs1765 This film was directed by Vaclav Kasic who made several productions for german TV in the 60s and 70s like "Orpheus und Eurydice", "Eine Nacht in Venedig" and a wonderful film of "Hoffmanns Erzählungen" with Ion Piso and Sylvia Geszty - all of them in opulent decors.

How wonderful!! Whose staging is it? Rennert's? Prey and Berry are at their best... and ¡Bravo maestro Luchoo!! For me one of the very best Mozart tenors ever, with that delicate, beautiful, italianate sound and superb technique (and great looks at the time) I'll click on "aura amorosa" right away! You won´t find that aria in this film. Actually the five times Karl Böhm recorded this opera (3 of them with Prey as Guglielmo), he never included "Rivolgete". I cannot understand why.

Even though I think noone could conduct this opera like Böhm, he used to do this kind of changes.
