A correction to my post: Wonder wrote this before his accident. And he actually said , himself, 'I would like to believe in reincarnation. .... I think sometimes we have a second consciousness on this earth... ". I cannot dictate to people as to whether they should be blessed by a song or not, ( I like the song from an artistic point of view), but Christian performers do need to be careful.

Stevie Wonder is one of history's greatest musicians. Case closed !! BUT he was (at one time) into some philosophies which were at odds with the gospel. This song, written after a near death experience, is apparently based on his astral projection/reincarnation beliefs. (the song talks about when he lived 'the last time around' and climbing on to higher ground ). By the way this is not one of those silly illuminati-style conspiracy theories. I enjoyed this performance of Mary Mary, They sounded great!! As long as Stevie Wonder, President Obama & The First Lady seemed to enjoy, thats all that matters. The audience were clapping loudly and I heard some loud whistle blowing at the end of the performance so it was received well.
THey are not annointed singing secular songs I notice it sounds okay but I think thats why God gives musicians these gifts to sing to and for Him but when they deviate and do their own things and decide to sing for the world or sale thier sols to the devil they dint sound the same and its not annointed
