  • awesome.....

  • SOFA KING CUTE! :D

  • HaHA!! I never noticed that. You're right!...

  • haha the second after he says "im an eagle" he gives a proper dramatic look :P

  • thats pride...or over confidence..but a cacuto can dream

  • Same here I'm getting two cockaetaills for Christmas . I just Wana know are they fun?? Like better then guinea pigs? Cuz I got a guinea pig an the fun just wore out.... Are cocktails the same way or are they like long time friends that are always with you and you bond with them moreeee kinda like a dog or a cat??? Does anyone get tired with there bird??? Please reply asap!

  • @mjkingofpopfan

Yeh there good fun and very cute, they can often be suprising - BUT always be gentle with them, make sure they go to bed at night not to late, regulary change there water and food etc mine sits on my shoulder a lot and cuddles up to me,there very loving pets.

  • That is so nice, you're getting a young bird. They are more easy to get them to love you than an older bird. They also learn to love to be scratched behind the head. Get him on a good diet, not just seeds. You should also spend absolutely as much time with them as you can, since a bored bird often resorts to sadly destructive behaviors, like feather-plucking. And they scream a lot when they want attention and aren't getting it. Males can talk! They love their humans. Good luck!

  • Hi I'm so excited, I'm getting my first bird this christmas! He a male pearl cockatiel and he's 4 and a half months old, so hopefully I'll have him till I'm about 40, but I'm wondering how you took care of your bird for it to live so long and stay healthy? I've been researching and I've read alot but nowhere actually said how much timenyou should spend with them, because I have a tight schedule but I can make time for him

  • lol,soo cute,i saw this birdie once, and he literally sung,as in la la la la!it was soooo funny lol!!

  • Sounds more like "I wanna eat!" to me, ha ha ha. Cute.

  • Aww I call my lutino cockatiel "Bud" chicken sometimes!!! I had one bird name "Regal" once that looked like fuzzy and he would get happy when I said "Regal, Eagle, Seagull!"

  • my cockatiel used to say 'im an eagle' too, before i ate him.

  • @GKMT i used to have 2 cockatiels a male called Rocky and a female called Dusty, they both died quite a few years ago but they were great pets, they were such loyal animals with great characteristics. Thanks for postin this RIP Fuzzy.

  • :| his human said that

  • @brand3981

No, he says it at the very beginning (really squeaky); I said it back to him to try to get him to say it again. I also tried to get him to say "chicken" but he refused. Too hungry I guess...:)

  • @brand3981 yeah he says it i herd :O

  • @brand3981 haha, his "human" said that, is this from bolt?, u coulda simple said "you" said that

  • @thedudethatmadevideo no i meant his human (owner) not that he was the one who said i'm an eagle IN the video but he's the one who said the birdy said this I could make out "imma" but not eagle

  • Ever think of getting another cockatiel?

  • yes, alas, he died some time ago.

  • Why does my post not take? :(

  • Don't know! But thank you for commenting on my Fuzzy. He was a great bird.

  • @GKMT OH NO! "was" a great bird? D=

  • This is one of my 'bird" videos I always watch on youtube to make me happy.

    Fuzzy will live on forever!

    10/10

He can fly with the eagles now!

  • I miss my bird :( <3

  • Fuzzy was a male--they have a yellow head whereas females have more gray. Also he could talk fluently, which I understand is not the case with females. (He also could imitate the sound of toast being spread with butter. He loved toast.) His cheek patches were yellow rather than orange because he was what is known as a Yellow Cheek rather than a Normal Gray.

  • @GKMT Fuzzy wuzzy, was very fuzzy, was he? lol, sorry had to say that. it comes out like "Fuzzy wuzzy, was very fuzzy wuzzy" lol it just sounds kinda cute :p

  • males have red cheeks and partly yellow wings. but i could be wrong about the gender :s

  • sorry but it hink it is actually a female or a very strange looking male

  • I wish mine could talk :3

I have two, but the male is the only one who makes a sound (whistling) other than grumpy peeps.

  • ADORABLE!!!!!!! Must. Have. cockatiel... arrrg!

  • That's to cute. ^_^

  • I got 2 birds one is 20 years old. so he doesnt have som many years left. and the other1 is 2 years old and hes a going to learn much,

  • @ScaniaNicke

Wow! 20 years old??? You must be taking very good care of him.

  • @GKMT Im taking good care of him, and now i bought 1 more bird so he have someone to talk with when im not home.

  • @ScaniaNicke 20 years old!!??

  • this is so cute! he is so clear! my birds cant talk... :(

  • arrghh my daddy bird died today , a cockateil 17 years old done some special remixes dedicated to him on my page :(

  • I am very very sorry to hear about your bird.

  • Hello, what age was he when he started talking?

  • Hi! He was less than one year old.

  • its very clear when he talks

  • What a cutie! Not that I'm an expert on cockatiels but he looks like he likes to cuddle. lol

  • how can people not like this? It's not like it didn't say it! It was pretty funny

  • Thanks! I always thought he was so cute.

  • OMG SO CUTE.

  • no! you're a hamster!

  • his voice is so cute :3!

  • whoa, this is the first time ive heard a cockatiel talk english

  • You can if you only have one bird--parakeets are really good talkers--but once you have more than one they just want to talk to each other...

  • @GKMT o.O my cockatiels cant stand eachother.. well actually, Snowball (my albino parakeet) hes like "cuddle meee!" and Moon (grey parakeet) is like "nuu... help me!" then she comes running to me.

  • Cutest bird EVER, only if I could get one of my parakeets to do that...

    xD.

  • What a cutie. XD

  • wooooww i love cockatiel =)

    really cute ! ! ! ! ='D

  • Dear Youtubers Who Own Cockatiels,

I'm 11 years old and I'm REALLY hoping to get my own cockatiel REALLY soon. I'm ready for the responsibility and i've done ALOT of research. I'm still trying to take in as much information as I can....so if you see this I would greatly appreciate your tips/tricks/etc.! Thank you so much!

    From, adpitt25(check out my vids.!)

  • If you have done research to the point of going onto YouTube and seeking out information, you are definitely ready for a bird!! Get a hand-fed baby if you can--not an adult from a regular pet store--you will have a sweet young bird to train and who will love you back. If you want them to talk you have to get a male--females don't talk as readily. But either are so sweet! Feed your bird lots of healthy food including fruit, and don't let it sit in the cage too long--give it love and attention!

  • and another advice! If you do get a hand reared bird dont leave em for too long, they can get a bit disobediant

  • It's more like, "I'm adorable!!!"

  • Thanks! that's nice to hear.

  • I have to tell you ever since we saw THIS video, we have been calling our tiels "Eagles" or "Egooos" ever since!

  • I have a cockatiel. His name is Tomi and he says :what"s up tomi?

  • lol. My cockatiel wolf whistles and songs Jingle Bells near Christmas time, but that's it.

  • OMG THATS SO CUTE -^ ^-

  • I have a cockatiel too but she doesnt talk, your bird is such a cutie

  • the witness protection program doesn't work well if you say who you used to be

  • oh that is so funny!! I had to think for Moment. Very funny!!

  • @VioletsAreViolent I LOL'ed IRL

  • Leobornchild8 my female cockatiel can talk, and very clearly, she can say pretty, good girl Lani, hey Lani, goodmorning Lani, jacko (dogs name) myra (cats name) and jacko get out! lol

  • my tiel would say Teddy, teddy the bird... then repeat, lmao. his voice sounded clear. kinda like a chipmunk version of captain k'nuckles from flapjack.

  • i'm a human.

  • That is CUTE!! i wish my cockatiel could speek, but she's a girl so she can't.

  • Aww little girl cockatiels can learn to mimic. They're just not as well known for it. I had one who would wolf whistle and say "I didn't do it! I love you!"

  • LOL That is so adorabble! My bird thinks he is a Raptor, hence his name: Raptor. I'm gonna teach him to say, "Rawr, Rawr, Rawr!" LOL

  • LOL!! What a great idea to teach him! i love it! haha! :)

  • Why didn't you teach him to say, "I'm a cockatiel"?

  • Lol. I would love to teach one "You're a cockatiel" just so I can have an argument.

    "You're a cockatiel"

    "No, you're a cockatiel"

    "No, you're a cockatiel"

    "No, you're a cockatiel"

  • @Greensmurf No YOU'RE a towel!

  • @KriimIanga No YOU'RE a tree!

  • Oh dear god it's so squeaky and high pitched I love it! XD

  • Wow, all my cockatails cant wolf whistle, but instead does the monkey whistle, like a MONKEY! LOL

  • Aww, he's so adorable. All my bird can do is Wolf whistle XD

  • I love how each cockatiel has their own voice, they all sound different to each other when they say the same things.

  • that is so cool, i have the same bird, how do you teach him to talk?

  • I'm glad you liked it. You just have to say the same thing over and over and over, in the same tone of voice. It helps if your bird is young, like Fuzzy was.

  • so cute!

  • fuzzy is such a cute name!

  • Aww.. What a cutie!

  • Our little look-alike holds phone-calls with us! Talking of eagles, you may be interested to help the eagles that were re-introduced into Eire from Scotland and are being poisoned by man in Ireland. There is a petition, if you look on Google for The Golden Eagle Trust.

  • Mine can say "I'm a chicken hawk! You're a chicken" from Henry Hawk in the Warner Bro cartoons, but mostly he says, insistently "I'm a Chicken! I'm a chicken!"

  • lol My cockatiel (Popeye) used to spread his wings, tip his head down, put his rear in the air and go "EAGLE!" He also clucked like a chicken, and when we would make "mmm chicken tastes so good!" or "lets eat chicken tonight!" comments, he would aruptly change and do the eagle thing.

  • Hello There.

Actually that is my bird saying it at the beginning, then me desparately trying to get him to repeat it for the camera. But I'm pleased to reassure you that Fuzzy WAS saying "I'm an eagle"

  • Yea sorry i realized that after it was to late -.- lolz

  • uhh says it in the beggining, from 0:00 to 0:03...then the person talks

  • Yes you are an eagle. xD

    <3

  • I'm so sorry for your loss, such a beautiful, adorable bird. RIP Fuzzy

  • That´s so CUTE!!!!!!! :D

  • lol

  • woah my cockatiel is called fuzzy

  • really cool and cute too lol

  • That´s so CUTE!!!!!!! :D

  • thats is so adorable and cute

  • What you heard was the bird mimicking the tone of I'm an eagle. Cockatiels themselves can't "talk" but can mimic how it sounds very closely. We had taught ours to "say" Mommy.

  • I heard "I'm an eagle" as clear as day. He is adorable!

  • dear god, that's so cute.

  • This is my favorite youtube video at the moment. Its an inspiration for us all!

  • Awe! So adorable!

  • aw :D i can't teach my cockatiel anythning :/

  • Well, no cockatiel is unteachable, it just takes time and cimmitment, and if your not happy, the birds not happy, they can read your emotions you know, i bet if you worked consistantly on trying to teach it something it will learn it. Just give it love and be happy :)

  • i herd it. lol cute

  • That's the cutest thing ever. Totally hilarious, too.

  • nóó =|

why didn't I pay attention at biology...

    ---

    nice one! XD

  • cute <3 he wants to be an eagle <3

  • He is an Eagle!

  • I love the way he/she says that! "I'm an EAGLE!" He/she looks really excited when he/she says it, like if he (or she..) liked being eagle. It's really funny how it's really a cockatiel. Cute!<3

  • I'm seriously thinking about teaching my bird to say I'm an eagle because of this :]

  • hahaha what a funny thing to teach a cockatiel

    check out my cockatiel videos:)

  • Oh, your birds are so cute! I howled with laughter. And they're really pretty, too.

  • lol nice bird

  • gkmt thats funny how ur birds name is fuzzy because thats my hamsters name

  • that is sooooo adorable!

  • I lol'd

  • cute! my cockatiel look eagle too lol

  • weird, you sound like my mom, lol.

  • OMG Fuzzy doesn't have those red circles on her/his face!

    Really nice talking too!

  • Yes, Fuzzy was actually a yellowface (or yellowcheek)cockatiel--just like the normal gray but with yellow cheek patches instead of orange.

  • Oh, I see.

  • lol another cockatiel is probably watching this going "sure you are" lol so cute..

  • I love that! :3

  • how did you teach him to say that?

  • We (my son and I) repeated it over and over--and over--until one day it just popped out. He enjoyed our reaction, I think, becuase he said it all the time. Among other phrases, he could also gasp and say "Toast!" as well as do a dead-on imitation of water being poured into a teakettle.

  • haha lol he is funny
