Although running very late it was certainly worth waiting for. She certainly can move! Watched other footage on 60163 up Shap and made it look easy even with 13 behind. Can just imagine what performance could be had with 9 or 10 only. Great shot by the way. Regards Dave

Knowing she was well over an hour late I did not bother getting there early like I normally would, so I just had to make the best of it The other platform whilst still a good shot was likely to have the sun directly into the camera so it was not really an option. Anyway ended with that glint for good measure.

I think that's a cracking shot, with the sun and the light shining on the rails and stuff, and shows how people will turn out to watch a steam train.
