Ravenholm is probably creepier than L4D... I thought I would survive the level, then the last thing I had left was 2 magazines for my SMG, 3 rounds on my 357, and a cr@pload of pistol ammo. I forgot I had a crowbar.

This part chilled me to the bone. Grigori has delivered you from the town, and he leaves you with a few words and a maniacal laugh. It also leaves you to wonder if he survived. I hope we see more of Grigori later, or at least learn what happened to him, because this is one of my favorite parts of Half Life 2

I had to write an essay about a special place we like, and i couldn't think of any... i asked the teacher if i could just make one up, and when he said sure, i just smiled, sat down on my chair. With a huge grin on my face, i started writing about Ravenholm and how great the place was... my friends next to me were laughing with me for what i did. I enjoyed every second of all the lies i did trying to make Ravenholm sound like a nice place to visit, when in reality, was infected by zombies. :3

Ravenholm was hell of allot scarier then L4D1/2. At least in l4d we have 3 other people making jokes every 5 seconds and boomer buddies and head humpers (oh half life has those too) and karma chargers. Half Life, your on your own against the world.

I used to be a bit scared of this level but right when i saw father Grigori I did'nt care anymore he is a very humerous character and at the end when this song played and I went through the door that led out of ravenholm the only thing i thought was "crazy old man" thats all that went through my mind. I wonder what happens to him well he survived who know how many years so he's probaplly still fighting, still laughing, and still has the power in ravenholm

Valve said that they didn't plan to reuse the Grigori character and it was up to the player to decide Grigori's fate. Personally, I think he kept on fighting until the Citadel explosion took out Ravenholm. Grigori should be considered a martyr.

Grigori is the reincarnation of Bill! Crazed and tired from his continous battle with the zombies, he was at last relieved to see someone else(Gordon) in his town that wasn't dead... yet. With Gordon's help, he was finally able to get to his final saferoom...

My idea of who Grigori is(since Bill/Grigori sound so eerily alike with the same voice actor and all) and what happens to him. Would explain why he's so awesome.

I suppose bringing back father Gregori would be an interesting plot twist, seeing as he can quite easily hold his own, and basically guides you in this chapter. Mind you...he's completely lost the plot, and therefore the "captain goes down with his ship theory" probably is most suited for this character.
