Is the T-virus airborne? At first i thought it was, but that would mean everyone who dies from any reason would mutate? Because if it isn't airborne, the staff would not have mutated. Yet the virus does not kill those who breath it in i.e all living humans.

Ahh the good ol' days. When Resident Evil 1 (film) was highly praised by newcomers, and brought complete nostalgia to the highly addictive fans. =] I mean for me, I saw it as a very original product when it came to creating a story line that doesn't connect with the actual events in the game...But bases it on the same universe. You gotta admit, Paul W. S. Anderson did a pretty decent job with the script. I would of hated (as a fan) to see what George Romeo would do if Capcom re-hired him. =[

Resident Evil 1: Absence of official Resident Evil cast, absence of Tyrant, pretty much absence of anything from game except for mansion and zombies

Apocalypse: Nikolai dies, and Jill doesn't kill Nemesis....no Claire or Leon either

Extinction: The world has gone to hell, no Chris Redfield or Jill, Wesker is an office chairman, and I'd rather see Sergei Vladimir than a desert

Afterlife: Chris Redfield has never met Albert Wesker

The only thing that makes this movie better than the others is the horror factor. The rest of the movies, little by little, got more action than horror. And even then, the movie hardly deserves to be called Resident Evil. I mean, they didnt even introduce Chris Redfield until the last (most recent) movie, AND he has NO history with Wesker! Am I the only one who knows what's wrong with this picture!?

@Videogamer3692 That's the thing my friend...What made the sequels so horrible was the fact that Anderson decided to INCLUDE the characters from the original franchise. =[ C'mon, as fans, we knew this was NEVER going to work out well. In order for a live action-adaption to be highly praised by fans, you (writer, director) have to be extremely knowledgeable on what exactly you're developing. If not...then in the end, not only will your film receive low ratings, you'll also disappoint the fans. =/

The thing that I love about this movie, is that it was somehow realistic. It had elements of a scary movie with some action but after that, it just became a pure action movie and way too over the top. Alice became the female version of Blade. I was a bit disappointed of the 2nd movie and foward.

Also the Anti-Virus was in its earliest stage so it wasn't the best it could be. On the other hand, for the girl, Rain, I am guessing it was just to late. The Anti-Virus didn't have enough time to stop the T-Virus from reanimating & mutating her cells.

@LtCallard its different on people, and alice didnt apply the antivirus to Matt, he was taken to umbrella facility, and he was still human, but they lock him to finish his progression of converting to zombie and experiment on him. Matt had the chance of reversing the virus.
