  • Wow. You're really good! I'm amazed!

  • Where'd you get the hook?

  • What staff are u using in the begining so you can walk on spikes? where do you get it and can you complete it without it?

  • Comment removed

  • flawless victory!

  • Hey! Hurtful!

  • You play this game like a BAWS!

  • Do you need the Fire Rod for Misery Mire at those fire puzzles? Is it possible to be quick enough with the lamp?

  • @Random1567 You can do it with only the lamp, yes. Just move the blocks out of the way in both rooms before you start lighting the braziers, and you'll have enough time to get to all four.

  • CRAZY FAST JEEZ

  • hahaha the hookshot is for suckers...so fucking funny!!!!

  • got it!!!

  • wait there is a tool at the mountain i didnt get across that bridge because i didnt have the master sword. ill check

  • how do you get in... im at the enterance and there is a tiny lightningshock in a picture... i dont know how to get in.

  • @TheRobloxrox9 you need the ether medallion

  • lol with silver arrows u can shoot one arrow to kill the mini eyes and 2 for the boss

  • at 1:52 you can shimmy along the sides instead of using the blue cane for protection

  • "hookshot is for suckers!" XD

  • How do you get access to this area? I've been trying everything I can for about a month now, and I still can't get in!

  • @selvut998 Get the shovel from the guy in the Haunted Grove in the Dark World (the circle of trees southeast of the village), use it to dig up the flute in the northwest corner of the Haunted Grove in the Light World, use the flute in front of the bird statue in Kakariko Village, use the flute to call the bird and have it carry you to the southwest corner of the desert, use the Titan's Mitt to uncover the Dark World portal under a rock on the ledge, and warp into Misery Mire through the portal.

  • @Desbreko where is the hunted grove?

  • @Angelwings815 The haunted grove is the area enclosed by trees near the village. If you exit the village from the south and head east you will pass right by it.

  • @selvut998 you have to get the titan's mitt and then you call your bird in the light world. You choose to drop off in the desert. When you get there, there are two dark stones. Lift the right one and go on the blue square, it will get you in the dark world. Then go to the entrance and use your Ether on the ''ether'' sign on the ground!

  • @selvut998 you have to get the flute then play it infront of the N E S W statue of the bird in kakario village then you can play the flute and a bird will come to pick you up and you can select diffrent locations to land. One of which being missery mire.

  • " The hook shot is for suckers" Sir I doth my hat to you!

  • @Radi0headed hahaha thought exactly the same thing......radiohead is awesome btw!!

  • here playing this game again after I played the GBA version of it, and realize been over 8 years since played it and usesd to take over full days to beat dungeons, now take me just minutes lol, of course unless forgot something to do and have to return, like to enter this dungeon forgot where I got the Ether last time, but then realized I forgot to look at the left side of the 3rd Dungeon in the Light world

  • 'could this passage open an slower?' can i get an aMEN-uh.

  • could u tell me where the blue cane and the cape are located?

  • where did you get that blue cane of so-maria?

  • Lol that beginning part was hilarious

  • hahahahha "hookshot is for suckers!!!!"

  • this level is hard as nails

  • where did you get that some kind of rod that makes you invulnerable to spikes?

  • wow you really owned at the begining

    nice job

you know, the bosses look hard after the first try, but when you see someone else do it, youre like, its a piece of cake =) i hate the third pendant of the worm, i can only beat it when i have the pereal though, i hit it like 7 times.....

  • Can you explain to me why I have an extra key after beating this? It's annoying me is it because they designed the dungeon flawed? I have an extra key and it's bugging me!

  • @SamusAbe You probably didn't open the locked door at 5:17, which is an optional room. You don't always have to use every key in the dungeon to get through it, but there are never fewer keys than there are locked doors.

  • @Desbreko Your right I didn't go in there thanks!

  • i hate those damn lightning bolts Vitreous shoots, it's bad enough the eyes do a shitload of damage

  • @ 2:50 what is the name of the weapon under the flute and what is the name of that thing under the bug catching net ?

  • I just beat the boss by continuously slashing my sword right in front of the door. How cheesy!

  • oh yeah its funny this one idiot on Youtube said he was famous because he made a lame ass video with 3,000 views and a few comments. Well I guess this Links to the Past master is really famous!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have this game for a game boy advance with zelda four soards

  • I have to admit the Misery Mire is the hardest dungeon in my opinion and you beat it like it was the Castle at the beginning of the game that is some impressive shit!!!!! I always stuggled in this temple Turtle Rock seemed easy after this one. I always thought it was weird how this temple didn't really have a theme too. Like the 2nd one is water 3rd is forest 4th the girl that turns into a boss 5th Ice 7th Turtle Rock(mountain). What the hell is this dungeon's thing other then being super hard?

  • @6greenduck you know what I never really thought about it until you said something. You can't say this is the swamp temple because the 2nd temple is the Swamp Palace. So really what the hell is the theme for this temple? Oh and you skipped the first temple but its the temple of darkness so don't worry it has a theme too. Its weird how i just realised this is the only temple without a theme.

  • @CaptainGangsta23 They're both swamp dungeons; "mire" is a synonym of "swamp." Lv2 just leans more towards a straight water theme while Lv6 leans more towards the swamp theme.

  • @Desbreko Ok I feel ya. So Lvl 2 is more like a water temple and this is a swamp type theme with the green walls and such. I think they should have added more swamp aspects to this dungeon because its seems more like a big maze with nothing really special. I do admit I think this was the hardest and the Ice one is pretty hard too. Compared to the other dungeons where do you think this one ranks as far as difficulty?

  • @CaptainGangsta23 Lv7 was always the hardest for me because so many of the enemies in there do a ton of damage, and then there's the dark platform maze on top of that. Lv6 was actually the easiest of the last four dungeons for me, though it was still harder than the first eight.

  • @Desbreko One last thing YOU ARE AWESOME AND A LEGEND!!!!! I really appeciate you responding to me.

  • How do you get the blue cane?

  • @BenBeanin get to the FIRST dark world portal in the game (death mountain, th eone where u turned into a bunny at first) go there, warp to dark

and head soth from there and there should be a ledge to jump down from, after that u land on a ledge wtih a cave. Go in the cave, bash the 4 moles and u have to all the way across the room with spikes. i recommend getting 4 fairies or red potions

make it all the way across then bash 2 moles, open chest, and BLUE CANE, or cape i cont remember

  • ur literally a beast at this game

  • Cane of Byrna ftw

  • For once a walkthrough and not a run around. There's another guy on here that talks the whole time. He's cool and funny but by no means is he this good.

  • I always thought this dungeon was a little flawed. I didn't get the key at 0:55 and I skipped some rooms you went through, but I still got the cane and beat the boss :\

  • thank u very much ;)

  • Someone has too much time on their hands.

  • Yeah try doing this without your magic being cursed..

  • "The hookshot is for suckers." You're such a badass. xD

  • this guy is pro, it's like he'd done it a million times before.

  • hookshot is for suckers, HAHA, so true, wish I realized that in 1995

  • the hookshot is for suckers

lol thanks for posting this =) all of these really help

  • Hookshot trick in the beginning was hot. Can't believe I'm still learning new things about this game considering how many times I've played it... It's still my all-time favorite game.

  • how do u get there?

  • Go to the haunted grove southeast of the Village of Outcasts in the Dark World, get the shovel from the guy there, warp to the Light World and dig up the Flute, go to Kakariko Village and play the flute in front of the bird weather vane, call the bird with the Flute and fly to the desert, lift the dark stone and warp to the Dark World, go north and use Ether to open up the dungeon entrance.

  • A bit off-topic but I loved the way you could short cut the dungeons in this and older Zelda games, ie using less keys than needed, ignoring rooms, etc. 3rd dark dungeon in this Zelda is just pure "shorcutness" lol. It was fun figuring out how could you do less work the second and third time you beat the game.

Now the dungeons are more linear, you can only follow a specific path.

  • no one can do the misery mire that fast!!!!!!! cool vid

  • one question guys , where can find this game for my computer ? thank you.

  • all right thanks, now i think that the Magic Cape is better specialy to defeat bosses

  • what´s the difference betwen cane of birna n invisibility cap?

  • The Cane of Byrna uses less magic but the Magic Cape lets you pass through some objects you otherwise couldn't. The little energy ball that flies around you while using the cane can also hurt enemies.

  • thats some elite shit right there.. I love this game, really brings me back.

  • Pro moves

  • lol, are people still playin this?? I liked this a lot when I was younger though.

  • you cant beat the classics

  • I agree, this game cn be really hard:P

  • @dhoulmagus11 Dude, this game is still one of the best, and I just played it for the first time 2-3 years ago!

  • ur very good

  • erm do u no how 2 get thre magic powder haha im sorry for taking your time up.

  • Go to the Lost Woods in the Light World and pick up the mushroom that's just northwest of the thief's hideout, near the center of the woods. Then take it to the witch that's east of the graveyard, across the river. She'll make the mushroom into the magic powder for you.

  • man i dont no how 2 get in 2 the actuall castle how do i get the lightning power

  • Go up on Death Mountain in the Light World and use the Book of Mudora to read the monument that's just west of the Mountain Tower. That'll get you Ether, which you need for opening up Misery Mire here.

  • I'm a sucker... I always use HOOKSHOT in the Beginning of Misery Mire...Thanks Bro for the Video...I've just realised that I'm a Sucker!! LOL! hehehehehehehehehe!

  • i try not to get damaged but im not that good yet ur vidieos are helping a lot im up to miser mire and its pretty easy with ur help

  • @0:05 , damn ure right, no need hookshot for that LoL, i've just realized it. Man i'm a sucker for that one =D

  • how the fuck do u get the blue mail i cannot remember

  • Watch my Lv5 Ice Palace video.

  • Ice Palace

  • how do you get so much money? cus I noticed you have loads of bombs and arrows and you get them as extensions at 100 rupees for 5 right? so How do you get all the money for it because you have loads extra!

  • There are several places you can get 300 rupees out of treasure chests, a couple of which are in the Village of Outcasts, as well as lots of other smaller secrets. If you know where to look, getting tons of rupees is easy.

The digging game on the southern edge of the Village of Outcasts is also a good way to get rupees fast.

  • thankyou x

I have loads of cash ^^ 1 castle to go =o

nearly finished =D unless theres an extra 10 castles after turtle rock which I dont know about X( pretty certain theres not... ANYWAY...thanks for the vids, they all really helped =)

  • you are a champion at zelda

  • i cant believe youll go that fazr without being damaged like pretty much at all

  • "But Ganon didn't plan on 'your' getting this far." Does anybody not see that the your is wrong and is suppose to be you. I just laughed when I saw that. xD

  • Actually, they're both correct.

  • These later dungeons were pretty brutal I'm currently on Turtle Rock and stuck :(

  • Man I never would have gotten through this dungeon without this video. Thanks a million.

  • ur videos r great :)

  • You get in the Misery Mire by using the Ether Medallion. Its on Death Mountain to the west of the Tower of Hera(or moutain tower). You will need the Master Sword and the Book of Mudora

  • nvm

  • how do you eneter the temple?

  • you have to use the quake medalion i think

  • you enter the temple by standing on that symbol that has one of the medallions symbol and use it then the temple will rise

  • what cane were you using at the beginning? I think I missed it...

  • ah nevermind! i found out how thanks again

  • thanks for the info but now i am inside misery mire and i cant get inside the temple... how do i get inside?

  • XFD @ the dash bounce comment at the beginning.

  • how do you get to the misery mire? i cant find my way there... and also where do you get the shield from?

  • You need to go to the circle of trees just southeast of the Village of Outcasts, in the Dark World, and get the shovel from the guy there. Warp back to the Light World and use the shovel to dig up the flute buried under some flowers in the northwest corner of the circle. Take the flute to Kakariko Village and play it in front of the bird statue windmill. Play the flute again and select the drop-off point in the southwest corner of the map. Lift the dark rocks there to reveal a Dark World portal.

  • To get a red shield, go to the Waterfall of Wishing in the far northeast corner of the Light World, just outside the entrance to Zora's Waterfall. Swim up into the waterfall, toss your shield into the pond inside, and the fairy there will upgrade it. (You can also upgrade the boomerang and get free green potions this way.) There are also a few shops in the Dark World that sell red shields but they're expensive.

  • I heard of a way to get the cane early.

  • is it the cne of byrana?

  • Yes.

  • sorry i meant that this palace or mire was my favourite dungeon

    PD: u play perfect conglatulations

  • this play is my favourite 1

  • And also would the magic cape also work too?

  • If you got the cane then exit the area, and get everything needed for turtle rock, you can go and grab the mirror shield early and you can block beamos and wizrobes lasers.

  • Could you reupload? It's no longer available.

  • Try to refresh your browser.

  • Did I just see the fire cane used on those annoying spirts? The ones I thought nothing would destroy them. What a shock to see. Thanks for the info though.

  • i got this on my wii, i missed playin this game... i tried goin through this dungeon, but somehow ended up stuck.. i went into every room i was able to several times, and there was no way through.. so i ended up quitting for the moment.

hope this video helps me, although i dunno how anyone avoids beamos, those damn things keep hitting me even if im on the other side of a wall, ugh!

  • yea, that happened to me on ice palace on my SNES, but just yesterday i i was playing all my old snes games, and i saw link to the past, and i decided i'd give it another try, and now i cant stop playing. in a good way.

  • I need advice if I should buy this for the Virtual console on my Wii.

  • Yes. End of statement.

  • Dude my comment was from 3 months ago and thus it was too late - I bought Super Mario World instead.

  • It's not too late to get this XD

  • Bit of a dick about going through this dungeon, aren't you? \:)

Man, you don't use the hookshot for the little gap at the beginning, but you use the hookshot to get to the collapsing bridge? I just run. The hookshot IS for suckers.

And you should try going through the game without upping your arrow or bomb count. That's hardcore.

  • Don't take the annotations too seriously. I just like having fun with them. lol

Not getting bomb or arrow upgrades doesn't make it that much harder, though. Not getting any sword upgrades past the Master Sword or any armor upgrades, now that makes it hard.

  • Trick at the beginning is epic.

  • I still have this game! O_o

  • me too! o_O

  • Me three! o_O

  • How is it [o_O] wierd that we have those games? =P
