  • My family lives 20 miles north of Fredricksburg, we love going there. The history and the people are wonderful.

  • i miss Fredericksburg, Virginia<////3...

  • Enjoyed this, nice feel for the historic stuff there. Loved the music. Who is it?

  • Sweet another filmmaker from fburg! (:

  • Me and my cousin filmed our screamer at that cemetery, we ride bikes there cause he lives like 4 or 5 blocks from there forget the name though SNIPERonage4life check out his channel for screamer

  • i live here=) have for 14 years and i love it downtown is sooo gorgeous lots of history down there def. a place for all americans to visit once in a life time

  • @shelby9109 IKR?! I live in Spotsylvania and Downtown Fredericksburg is my favorite place to visit espcieally the Rec Center on the first friday of the month

  • Well, I thought it was a nice video. My daughter was offered relocation for her job. Fredricksburgs was 1 option (others were Virginia Beach, Richmond, and Elizabethtown NC). We live in PA - in the country. She's considering it - but I think she looking for the most peaceful small town. So far - this seems to be MY favorite.

  • My sister and her fiance live in Fredericksburg and I've visited so many time and love it there. I've walked all over downtown countless times and in front of all these places. The confederate Cemetery is beautiful......Kenmore is beautiful and haunted!! Oh, but you should have shown Carl's! hahaha It has the best ice cream!

  • @LivingMindfully1975 I remember walking in front of Kenmore.........I wanted to go inside as soon as I heard it was haunted XD>

  • I visited Fredricksburg a couple of years ago. Very historic city. I was over by the stone fence. Very haunting place. Even with the buildings on the battlefield. I felt the spirits of the soldiers who have passed on. Said a prayer for them. Both union and confederate. Interesting place and interesting part of American History.

  • To anyone who sees this, This is not fredericksburg the guy made it look like a 1700's block party but its way more technical he just didnt go down 3 far enough or even to the other parts of fredericksburg

  • @coolbutt7 You're totally right. I should have gotten more shots of things like the mall and freeway overpass, because it's not like every single other town in this country has anything like that. Look, Fredericksburg is a special town because of its historical buildings and war cemeteries . You aren't going to get anyone to visit by yelling "Yeah, we finally got a Wall Mart!" Great, join the rest of middle America. Sit down and really appreciated what a special place FXBRG can be if you LOOK.

  • @kosk11348 I get what your saying but wall marts really gay because fredericksburg is more than historic buildings im just saying you should hav gone down and did a few shots of like pratt park loriella and stuff not shopping centers

  • @kosk11348 u are tottaly right and reading ur reply while listenin to the music in the vid put a tear in my eye

  • @kosk11348 , I agree with the above comment. Fredericksburg does have great historical areas, but that's not the only aspect of it. It's a fast-growing town near Washington, and its economy has been vastly shaped by its proximity to it. I'm not saying show Wal*Mart, but there are definitely some interesting and more modern places such as the new hospitals and there are also a lot of parks.

  • my brothers used to play hockey at the fredericksburg ice park, but now they have to go up to charolettesville to play hockey :[ yeah, but anyway, fredericksburg is a really nice place to live, and I love downtown fredericksburg, it's really nice there. and also, great vid!

  • Fredericksburg...America's most hysterical, I mean, historical city.

  • you make are town look so much more whack than what it is asshole

  • nice videa, thanks for sharing :)

  • enjoyed the video...was born and raised in Fredericksburg...spent my first 18 years there, many a fond memory and always enjoy returning back.

  • You can always - oh I don't know - MOVE!

  • thanks for makin this. I havn't been to dead fred in a while.

  • my town

  • I cant wait to visit my gf in fredericksburg

  • cant wait to see it in 09

  • I love fredricsburg,its where I grew up.

  • I love Fredericksburg and I love your video!

  • Nicely done! I wish we could have gone there on our way back from Gettysburg 145th. I would have loved to see the battleground.

  • ok,ill admit that you made a great video of "old town" fredericksburg, but i lived there from 1984 till 1998 and still go there very often. It is my home. And i DO love it, but... this video proves that you can make anything look great on camera. The REAL fredericksburg is clogged with traffic(rt.3,rt.1) I-95 is always congested, everyone who lives there works in D.C., housing is VERY expensive, and we have a big drug problem. It is an overly built up place for the area. BUT ITS MY HOME

  • i used to lived there now im in panama

  • BUT there is a house behind all those graves its REALY old and its super cold in the summer if you go near it

  • I LIVE THERE WOW ITS ACTUALLY LOVED

  • Where do u live in fred.?

  • Very good video.

    I love Fredericksburg,VA.

    I live in Stafford,VA.

    [=

  • Great video

  • My sister lives in Ladysmith. Fredericksburg is my favorite haunt when visiting her. You captured the historical significance of the landscape. More importantly, you captured the beauty of the landscape. Great video!

  • Thanks for the nice comments.

  • Well done. Even if I never get back to Fredericksburg, I'll always have this video.
