  • I thought that the savage xs wasnt compatible with 4s batteries, just 2s and 3s

  • Do you still have your flux? If so, how has it held up over the years?

  • @sjiyuey it doesnt come with batteries

  • if it was me i would run the stock batteries first ( less power ) to increase the engine life

  • Good vid. Btw did u break the motor in before this

  • is there an advantage to running 4s in parallel as apposed to 2s in series?

  • if i buy one of these and want to put dual lipo in do i need to buy an adapter? is it easy to just go into a shop and ask for 2 lipos!?, i heard they take a lot of care, not let them go flat etc? hope you can help?

  • check out my savage man :P and sick video

  • i like your savage but i like my savage flux 2350 better

  • is that snow?

  • @xtmracing14

no, the local drug dealer dropped his stasch. :)

  • @1521joe haha im gonna add you as a friend just because you thought of somthing so random lol

  • @xtmracing14

    its all good bro.

  • @1521joe lol thats pretty funny, im gettig a flux in 9 days lol

  • did u even hit full throttle?

  • is that gravel or ice? i want one

  • does that have waterproof servo's? bet ur happy u didnt get a nitro no break in!

  • i love traxxas i have both a t and e maxx brushless. they are both garbage. the savvy flux is awsome drove and owned one for 2 months but had to sell it.

  • is this in fairbanks alaska it looks like the carlson center in the background

  • my savage x 4,6 rtr loves the snow

  • is it electric? cuz that is what it sounds like

  • Alright, I have had enough with people asking, "which car should I buy, blah, blah, blah", everyone is going to have a different opinion. No matter which one is better, if someone is partial to Traxxas they will say the E-Maxx, if someone likes HPI they will say Savage. Do the research yourself and make your own decision, DAMN!!!! I wouldn't leave a $500-$700 investment up to people telling me what they think their opinion is, I would want to research on my own!!!

  • @gestekoe Someone got out of bed the wrong side this morning i think. Theres nothing wrong with asking advice from people who own what youre thinking of buying. Who else would you ask? Someone whos never driven one?

  • Mahtuuko noi 4s lipot ilman modailuja?

  • never drive that car in the snow unless you take precautions in moisture

  • Flux or brushed emaxx? FEEDBACK PLEASE i'm gonna buy one or the other and cant decide which one!

  • go with the flux..... the only traxxas i would recomend is the e revo brushless or the 1/16 revo brushless. But HPI is so much more durable. trust me.

  • flux flux flux flux if you got the money for all stuff

  • @marvo75 savage becouse it douse every thing racing and bashing. the t maxx is very good thou.

  • @marvo75 go for the savage flux

  • are you swidish

  • is this truck stock other than the lipo?? Possibly ESC Upgrade?

  • bone stock savage flux.

  • @trxmh is this the 2200km or 2350km version?

    nice truck! i want one!

  • @YYpes how much do these things cost?

  • this beast of a bitvh was runnin on 8s fucking lipo!!! holy crappers!!!

  • bello!!!ma sembra che fa più di 100.

  • Is it waterproof?

  • You can open the ESC and use plastidip(in a can) to cover the internals. But it does void you warranty (probably)

  • this car is fast but i wanna have it like a nitro car'¨1

  • savage xl

  • Good video, little bit repetitive but I like the way you've used the car on the snow.

  • Isn't this is a series, not parallel?

  • are the batteries included with the Flux?

i want a flux but am confused with all the terminoligy

i don't want speed, i want long run times.

    any suggestions

  • the more m,a,h, you have the longer the run time

  • high mah batteries, it means amperage and makes your car run for longer time

  • id recomend max amps 2s 5000 mah battery or at least a 5000mah lipo battery 2s will probaly be the chepest

  • NO you don't get the batteries with the truck, and charger even

  • how much is a flux?

  • £530 no idea where u from but just look on google and you should find the price

  • more like $600 US..

  • 620. im savin haha

  • where can i order one or buy one?

  • modelsport

  • Do you like it im thinking of getting one

  • How did you hook them up in parallel? Did you buy an adapter?

    A link would be great.

    Thanks

  • it comes with 2 battery holders and is designed to be run by 2 parallel batteries...

  • If you just plugged the batteries in stock you were running them in series. Stock it comes for series

  • Comment removed

  • its 4s in series not parralel

  • no hes saying 2 x 4s LiPo in paralell which means hes running 2 battery packs, each being 4s, but each pack in parallell for the extra runtime

  • FREE5TY1E5TEPPER5 where do they sell the flux for only 630 CAN everywhere i check its no lower than 715.99. Please reply! thx

  • does the savage flux come with Deans plugs?

  • Yes it does

  • in canadian dollars: 628.1856

  • hey how much waaz it in canadian dollars

  • these cars are awsome myself i have a traxxas t-maxx 2.5. But i think that these cars have a little to much power.

  • Probably because of that weak 2.5 you are running. =D Electric > gas

  • t maxx suck savage rocks

  • @SAVAGERULES123 t maxx or e maxx? if t maxx thats not a fair comparison, nitro to electric......

  • what's the runtime on this if you're using the chepest lipo?

  • i want 1 sooo bad but there just soo expensive

  • they are more expensive then any one things they are.

after buying Savage Flux you have to spend £300 to get it rolling with class and Spectrum is a must have with MMM not saying anything about hop ups...

just to get Savage and get it rolling you have to spend £800 plus £200 for Spectrum adds up to £1000 plus some hop ups and you will be running £1300 rig but it's well worth it,believe me !

  • Why spektrum? Any 2.4gzh radio. I can get rx/tx 2.4gzh combo at tower for $79. Not sure how many euro's that is, though.

  • DOES THE FLUX HAVE 2SPD TRANNY

  • No, it does not, nor does it need it.

  • Where and how can you get a parallel adapter?

  • how long do the bateries last till u have to recharge them?

  • is it true that this truck eats up the pinion gears?

    thank you

  • i have not had a problem yet.. and i have been beating on mine for 2 weeks now.

  • yah but mine has a problem but the thing is i bought a roller and put in a mmm 2200kv and ran a 6s lipo and that must be the problem! wait there is no problem it is fucking fast!

  • did you do any waterproofing?

  • Normalement le controleur du savage flux n'accepte que des batterie 2s ou 3s comment avez vous pu mettre du 4s ?

  • Using adapter for parallel connection or modifying original connections ?

  • Yes, im using adapter for parallel connection.

  • Waterproof ?

  • time to move up to 3S LiPos =)

  • sweet video i love savage fluxes i want one so bad lol *****

  • thanks, this truck is a lot of fun.

  • yup, 14.8v and about 7400mah capacity.

  • a 4s fits in the battery compartments?

  • zippy rhino 4s 3700 fits at least.

  • I think if you plug them in parallel, you'll double the capacity, not the voltage. If you plug them in series, then you'll double the voltage but keep the capacity.

    Parallel - 7.4v 7400mah

    Series - 14.8v 3700mah

    Thats what I think

  • Comment removed

  • Batteries in the video are 4s, so butting them in series you will get 29,6v and parallel 14,8v.

    Or am I right trxmh???

  • Yes thats right.

Im running them in parallel 14.8v 7400mah.

    Running time is about 30-35min.

  • So you are running with 2batteries of 4s each? 2x4s or 2x2s?

If it is 2x4s, I take back what I said before

  • yes, im running 2x4s.

  • Then, I'm sorry. I take back what I said before :)

But he can handle with thoose in series, it's too much voltage, right?

  • Comment removed

  • No, the conection he is using is not in series. The 2x4s are conected in parallel, this means double the capacity, not he voltage. If it was in series, it was double voltage, same capacity.

    In series 2x4s is 29.6v 3700mah

    In parallel 2x4s is 14.8v and 7400mah

The trick is the connection =)

  • :o you got one, it looks awsome!!

2 4S lipos in parallel so thats 14.8V but double the capacitty right?
