  • I have a problem with the ads because it would take you just 20 minutes to remove it, and it costs the 200,000 + viewers a lot of time (compounded for the number of viewers) to realize the ads go on for 3+ minutes and to find the start of the show.

  • @trakomako more straight people catch hiv than gay people. God made gay people . There are many millions of them.

  • for those of you complaining over the fact they talk about freddie being gay. think about this: in this world, right now when you read this, there are young people all over the planet trying to come to terms with the fact they are gay/bisexual and trying to work up the currage to tell their family and friends so they dont have to live a lie all their lifes. they need someone to look up to. if they can see famous and loved people who are gay it may make it easier for them. (to be continued)

  • @kyrastube (continuation) it may even prevent them from start hating themselfs. I know, I was one of those young people 10 years ago! now Im out and proud, but I needed someone to look up to and thank god I found a few. it is very sad that freddie never felt he could talk in public about the fact he was gay, but the world was a very different place then, even the year he died. so think about the teenagers once more before you complain about a small thing like that, a thing that gives hope!

  • You are right, his family seemed kind of cold. Sorry. I mean especially the sister, she's amused to talk about him after he's dead. I read an interview, when Freddie told her he was dying, trying to get a reaction out of her like maybe a hug, or say she loved him and didn't want him to die. But did she cry or show emotion? Maybe not cause I don't think she really loved Freddie as a brother. That probably made Freddie sad, give up.

They all seem too eager to talk about private things.

  • Ok I'll rephrase cause maybe I was wrong. I think Freddies sister DID love him but I don't think he felt that. lso don't think he felt it from his parents either. When someones dead it's too late to say I love you, but now he's dead they try and prove it to the whole world. Too bad it didn't seem they tried to prove it to Freddie when he was alive. Instead they remained aloof and caused him to turn wild and go off the deep end. I didn't mean to judge anyone.

  • @Aliquinn another fukin idiot..?43

  • Can someone tell me what concert he's playing Bohemian Rhapsody at? I love the sound of it live <3

  • @missi44 Hm, I'm not sure but I think that's Wembley Stadium which was one of his last live shows. It's on youtube if you want to check it out but It's def worth buying if you're a fan.

  • @trakomako

    Fuck you

  • What is going with you, guys? Only comments you can make after watching this great video with a lot of memories of Freddie's family and friends, it is comments about HIV ?

Why do you waste your time and show poor brain ability? Freddie is ROCK GOD! Please, leave Freddie alone.

  • por favor alguien que lo tradusca al español!!!!!

  • @MrsRhythmNation I sense the same thing about Freddie not feeling love from his family. Sent to Boarding School at such a young age and not even seeing his mother, father and sister on school breaks. Apparently he went to stay with an Aunt in the same town during his breaks. I really believe that has a strong affect on a young child, and its unfortunate in those days that parents weren't attuned to the pyschological damage incurred. He was lovely man looking for love in all the wrong places

  • so eine stimme wird es wohl nie mehr geben

  • Freddie has the greatest voice ever! And he is so charismatic!... Btw, I see nothing wrong with these parties... actually, I would really enjoy going to one of them :)

  • Something tell me that Freddie took aids at NYC in 80'

  • Can someone tell me what tha name of tha song they use in tha background , during tha PARTY SCENES from 5:15 to 7:05 ???????.......

  • I feel that he never felt real love from his family. They still refuse to acknowledge the loneliness he felt at boarding school. I don't think they were very tuned into or interested in his personal emotion. Perhaps this is an explaination for his sexual recklessness, he looked for love in these places. Very sad, really.

  • I really liked watching this documentary. It's great to get an insight into the life of the man who was larger than life. There is no reason to pick anyone's personal life apart, shame on those who feel they need to. Freddie gave a HUGE part of himself to us, respect him. His music lives on forever.....

  • @bananabaer To say that he celebrated his sexuality seems a bit out of character from what I understand about him after reading all the books and watching the interviews. It seems like he was a bit ashamed, and I litterally mean a BIT. He was not in the closet, but he surely was private.

But we who admire Freddie must learn to ignore the ones to slag him off, either they'll learn or they are lost causes all of them, but we have freddie and they have lemmy, I'd say we have it much better.

  • hey freddie smoked, and he still had this great voice, you can see him with a ciggie from 8:11 to 8:31

  • Comment removed

  • We should remember him for how he lived and what he gave us, not how he died.

  • I'm a real Fan of Freddie, he was the best singer and performer, but I don't like the scenes of these "parties"

  • Freddie lo mejor que le pasó al planeta

  • What does Roger says at 6:56 ?

  • Comment removed

  • Freddie had the greatest voice in the world

  • yes bananabaer - you are precisely right - this was a time when AIDS was in its infancy & medical science had not got any answers to the many questions - Gia Marie Carangi died of AIDS in 1986 - that was the tragedy of contracting the illness in a time when there simply were no answers or education on the matter!

  • I miss Freddie so much:(

  • 9:00 hahaha :)

  • Whats the concert in 2:15?

  • Hot Space UK tour - Live at the Bowl 1982

  • freddie we all miss you, terribly

  • see 5:46

  • bravo to india 12 points

  • Freddie was diagnosed HIV positive at the end of 1985 and more clearly with AIDS early 1987. Although some sources suggest that he was diagnosed HIV positive before in his New York period (1981-1983). Hutton was diagnosed in 1989-1990, so definitely after Freddie.

  • To me Jim Hutton looks better now than at Freddie's time.

  • does freddie's partner have aids too.??

  • jes he got aids to but he is still alive

  • Actually he tested HIV positive, but last account he did not have AIDS.

  • sorry i was wrong! ur right

  • did he gave freddie aids or was it the other way around? maybe you don't know, but 'm curious.

  • no one knows

  • be mad?

  • why?

  • whats?

  • the soap bit is soo funny lol

  • haha. at 8:45 jim puts soap on freddie face and he screams.

  • i think this guy who pretends to be his old friend is younger than freddie, is this for real?

  • какой у него клёвый акцент был)))прикона

  • Freddie forever <3 !!!!!

  • Long Live Freddie Mercury

  • queen was formed in 1970

  • The Piano..Just like my piano..he-he-he...

  • freddie was such an amzing showman, and a person by the looks of it. We all screw up and make mistakes, and Freddie obviously leftthis world because of one... but we can't look at it negatively, and brood on it. We must all appreciate the gift he gave this world, along with roger, brian and john, and appreciate that they were a better band than ABBA!!!

in the words of annonymous..."the king is dead...long live the king!!"

    R.I.P. FREDDIE!!

  • it's not even a mistake, in the early eighties aids was not discovered yet, and since he was gay he( and many others) tought there is no need to protect himself, most of his friends think he got it early in the 80s

  • He didn't screw up or make a mistake. In the early 80s no one knew what AIDS was, let alone how to protect yourself against it. He did nothing wrong and certainly nothing that, say, Elton John or George Michael did - they were just lucky.

  • "if you want to leave - i'd understand"

"i love you Freddie - i'm not going anywhere"

so sad so romantic so true!

    queen forever

  • Even though the fact it was gay love...u still gotta admit in some way that was pretty heart breakin lol. I LOVE freddie. Freddie, wherever u are, Rock on!

  • where is now that old piano?, it should be on a art gallery or museum of music, not in a old abandoned place....

  • Year 2008/Day 20/Month 09.Still is no cure for this virus AIDS?

  • freddie will LIVE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • FUCK AIDS

  • Oufffffffffffffff, on n'a cru qu'il n'arriverait jamais, d'ailleurs il est déjà reparti... FIN NULLLLL

  • it is a shame freddy died from aids!!!!

  • if this documentry was taken on the day of his 60th birthday and they intervied freddys mom, than how old is she??

  • two thousand years old, The Mercurys NEVER die.

  • Does anyone know where the picture at 4:11 was from? I'd love to have a copy!:D

  • "at the time when we were growing up, i didn't know Freddie would turn out to be a gay guy" hahahaha

I love how he phrased that.

  • The scene with Fred in the bathtub is just... LOOOVE<33333333

  • freddie ti amo

  • freddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy we miss you!!!!!!!!

  • must of been very sad for him that he found out he was sick :(

  • true but then again for whom would it not be sad to find out they have HIV and its going to an end.

  • i think the scene with freddie in the bath was so cute and sweet. :) Its kinda sad too at the same time known that hes dead RIP Freddie

  • He just had so much spirit...

  • belasini bulmus serefsiz pezevenk

  • that part at the end was very sad, poor freddie

  • He had 4 extra teeth in the back of his mouth - they pushed all the other teeth forward. He was actually very self-consious of them and hated when it got photographed, but never wanted to get em fixed because he thought they gave his voice extra resounnance.

  • 8:10 to about 8:32 gets me every time i watch this documentary.

  • so? does it really matter how his teeth look like?

  • Heh, even as a kid he already had that impressive grill.

  • hellz ya!queen forever!

    that man could sing seriously

and all of the band members are talented they all write they sing huh?huh?

    good stuff :D

  • Queen for ever

  • the end of this clip is so sad.

  • this is a beautiful film. thanks for posting.

  • that's amazing that the piano is still there at the school! i agree with freddie's friend in the video...it must have been really hard for him to go to school with all of the other guys when they were chasing girls.

  • i think we all loved and still do love freddy. will be surely missed but we're lucky his music will live on for ever! R.I.P Ferukh

  • Freddie Mercury was, and will always be, the best singer ever!! I've been a Queen-fan ever since I was a little girl.

But think it was wise of him to change his name. Because I think that he wouldn't have made it as big as he did with his original name. But maybe I'm wrong.. We will never know..

    Queen forever!

  • the best ever

  • i love Freddie and his Eureka

  • Freddie is the greatest singer we have ever known. Something Ive never understood thou, that is freddies skin is much lighter than the rest of his family....or the footage of people in his country.

  • thats because he wasnt indian, he was iranian and they have lighter skin.

  • Same shit, different forum. Why don´t they ban you from the internet altogether?

  • he was the best.

we may never see another band like queen

however we will never see another queen, they are one of a kind.

  • this guy under me is so stupid, just ignore him....

we all know that world is always ful of fucking idiots xD FREDDIE MERCURY FOREVER!!! LOVE YOU FREDDIE, R.I.P. MAN!

  • sencillamente maravilloso!!!

  • I have to honestly say that a little part of me "hates" him for not staying...it is difficult to accept we have lost such a talented man for things like this. I dont want to sound cruel but even Hutton is still alive (If I am not wrong) while Freddie isnt...it would have needed just a little care with himself and his life style...it is just a total mess. I miss him.

  • It comforts me to know he was loved, and had someone who cared, there with him during the lonely hours.

  • I'm Crying Even More!

  • I know, i didn't like the end either... it seemed a little too personal.

  • Freddie was the greatest showman or frontman in all categories..

  • i know i was born in the 90's but i love Queen. Freddie Mercury was so very talented it makes me so sad that this very talented man is dead. =-(

  • where are "lonely"

  • they use photomontage

  • maybe you can press the "break" button and wait until the red bar is on the end then press play again, maybe it works.

  • I can not see it. It stios after 30 seconds. Any suggestions?

  • I didn't like the end of the video when he sings like Marilyn Monroe its to private !!!
