Having read Michael Buckley's comment I went into analytics and checked out my views. Week on week (with one exception which was very slight) I've seen an increase in views since October (As far back as I checked). That is up until about two weeks ago when my views started dipping again.
This new homepage is making it so less people watch videos. YouTube makes it's money when people watch videos so I think it's in everyone's best interest to move back or re-roll. This homepage isn't working.
While I actually like the new channel page. I think my channel looks better than ever with the blog layout I have one small bit of feedback. I haven't seen the feedback button for over a week. It's just not showing up any more...
Dear YT could you work on something efficient to prevent people from stealing/downloading & cloning our videos ? Our hard work should be protected for YT and owners/partners interests.

Just imagine if all the Partners made private their channels and videos for a week. Yes the partners would lose money but how much are they losing now? Hit YouTube in the wallet,it's the only thing that will unblock their ears.
Feedback goes straight to the youtube product designers? Like anything, that's only if it's good feedback like what was featured in the video. I have submitted quite a lot of my feedback about the whole new design which is completely wrecked my browser and has given me countless viruses, and it sent me all the way to GOOGLE and then I had to re submit most of it, then I had to re highlight plenty, and takes me off the page I was on. My browser is now ruined, and my laptop is near enough broken.

There are multiple videos about the new layout, there are multiple threads in the Google help about the new Youtube system. Thousands and thousands of feedback there, not to mention the video thumbs downs. The feedback is: No one likes the new layout. Because the new layout, my new video got only 350 views in 6 days! - Subscribes, subscribtions, friendslist and channel comments are hidden, it means people can't find my channel anymore. It's really sad. :-(
Dear YouTube, I think I speak for others when say that I perceive a large gap between feedback we might give and any actual changes. I really tried to get on board with the change, but I would like to see requests for feedback PRIOR to changes. Regardless, we will just have to use whatever you put up...and you already know that.

The new layout used to benefit those whose names are high on the alphabet (As, Bc, Cs, etc.) but since yesterday seems to be random? At first, I could see how as a publisher you wouldn't like it alphabetical, but as a subscriber, randomly shuffling my subscriptions is annoying and causes me to want to unsubscribe to ones I don't watch since my favorites (more than the top 10 or whatever) are buried. And the main feed is now useless.
People: Click on the "send feedback" link on this page (or click "report a bug" if you don't see the link) and highlight the video + top comments and tell YouTube to READ OUR FEEDBACK IN THE COMMENTS.
We posted TONS of ideas and comments, and this new video feels to me like nobody bothered to even read what I spend time writing and explaining in detail. At least with the feedback system, they reply to some of my messages.

I was very disappointed that you took out the branding box for partners. Even though the link section on the side is "similar" & easier because you don't have to know any HTML coding, partners with this knowledge could make their branding box with different sizes, colors, bold or underlined, & organize it anyway they wanted. I really loved that feature & am really sad to see it go. None the less the new layout seems to be ok so far, still trying to get used to so many changes though.
Like many others I want the X button for videos in the subscription list to be returned so that I can remove videos from that list that I've already watched or will not be watching for whatever reason.
Other than the new "pin" feature, this lay out sucks, everyone is losing views, everyone is losing subscribers, and my subscription list doesn't have anyone that i subscribed to, and i want my honors back

I can't see the full titles of my videos on my video manager page. I have up to 20 episodes per series, and can't tell which episode I'm clicking on. You have hurt my business. It takes longer, and more clicks to do things. Your new design looks like a 9th grade computer project.
How about a delete video in the homepage subscription feed, we keep asking in feedback but nothing happens, also put friends lists, subscription and subscriber lists back how they were and whilst you're at it put the friends invite button back on channel pages. Lets not forget the old style video player and and playlists, this new style sucks big time and it would have been better to keep some of the old main channel features
Out of curiosity, just how much overwhelmingly negative feedback does YouTube have to get before they realize they've flamingoed up and should probably roll back to the previous format that people actually, you know...liked.
The new Channel Design is soooo bad! No more individuality! The black box is so ugly. Before the new design everything was clear shown on one SINGLE page. Now you have to click about 3 times to see the "hidden" comment section! In web studies you can see that more clicking is worse for the hits. People don't want to click for such simple details!
I also wished for HTML Layouts so we can design free our sites! It should be "broadcast yourself"! Please chance something with the new design!
Thumbnails are too damn big, you can't see multiple videos at once without click a TINY "X more videos" link, only so many load up at once...this stinks.
It doesn't feel like a video-watching site, it feels like a Facebook feed...and that's NOT what I'm here for.

The previous layout where videos were grouped together according to the uploader was much more efficient and organized. Though the new layout may look more slick, it has sacrificed organization. The reason why I dont like the New layout because:
1. For Partners, you can't upload a side-column image
AND 2. You can't edit the Branding Box.

go back to the old channels and look at the Branding Options tab to see how many partner features YouTube has taken away from the new channel designs.
Go to the Modules section on the old channel and take a look as well.

Hi partners. Do you have any feedback we can send to our shredder?!!! This video was uploaded on 21 Dec after a crap load of feedback already submitted! The testers,forums and the blue box must have drowned them, so what the hell are they still asking feedback for? PR
Just imagine if all the Partners made private their channels and videos for a week. Yes the partners would lose money but how much are they losing now? Hit YouTube in the wallet,it's the only thing that will unblock their ears.

Feedback goes straight to the youtube product designers? Like anything, that's only if it's good feedback like what was featured in the video. I have submitted quite a lot of my feedback about the whole new design which is completely wrecked my browser and has given me countless viruses, and it sent me all the way to GOOGLE and then I had to re submit most of it, then I had to re highlight plenty, and takes me off the page I was on. My browser is now ruined, and my laptop is near enough broken.

you're literally rendering the subscription system useless. now partners are going to be saying "HEY! Sign up for my newsletter on my website and I'll email you my new video every week because you'll never see it if you subscribe!" in all of these USELESS visual changes you're making to the site, you've manage to destroy the subscription system. doesn't youtube make more money by all of the partners getting MORE views? is youtube's appearance really more important than monetized traffic?

There are multiple videos about the new layout, there are multiple threads in the Google help about the new Youtube system. Thousands and thousands of feedback there, not to mention the video thumbs downs. The feedback is: No one likes the new layout. Because the new layout, my new video got only 350 views in 6 days! - Subscribes, subscribtions, friendslist and channel comments are hidden, it means people can't find my channel anymore. It's really sad. :-(

Dear YouTube, I think I speak for others when say that I perceive a large gap between feedback we might give and any actual changes. I really tried to get on board with the change, but I would like to see requests for feedback PRIOR to changes. Regardless, we will just have to use whatever you put up...and you already know that.

The new layout used to benefit those whose names are high on the alphabet (As, Bc, Cs, etc.) but since yesterday seems to be random? At first, I could see how as a publisher you wouldn't like it alphabetical, but as a subscriber, randomly shuffling my subscriptions is annoying and causes me to want to unsubscribe to ones I don't watch since my favorites (more than the top 10 or whatever) are buried. And the main feed is now useless.

People: Click on the "send feedback" link on this page (or click "report a bug" if you don't see the link) and highlight the video + top comments and tell YouTube to READ OUR FEEDBACK IN THE COMMENTS.
We posted TONS of ideas and comments, and this new video feels to me like nobody bothered to even read what I spend time writing and explaining in detail. At least with the feedback system, they reply to some of my messages.
If we ALL do it, we can MAYBE make something happen.

The feedback system you're describing is fairly simple to use and doesn't allow the kind of interactive exchange that is going on in the comments. Please read our comments.
I don't mind the new layout and understand there's a need for improvement, but please don't change everything so brutally, many things are really bad now: overloaded sub boxes, no text to read, dull colors... Please read our comments.

It seems you are taking away features for partners. The branding box is gone and you hamper people seeing more videos on the home page without the ability to X out videos. The videos you have seen should go away and make way for other videos. Come on guys these are basics, this stuff should have been included. Why would you reduce usability in lieu of adding it?

I was very disappointed that you took out the branding box for partners. Even though the link section on the side is "similar" & easier because you don't have to know any HTML coding, partners with this knowledge could make their branding box with different sizes, colors, bold or underlined, & organize it anyway they wanted. I really loved that feature & am really sad to see it go. None the less the new layout seems to be ok so far, still trying to get used to so many changes though.

I can't see the full titles of my videos on my video manager page. I have up to 20 episodes per series, and can't tell which episode I'm clicking on. You have hurt my business. It takes longer, and more clicks to do things. Your new design looks like a 9th grade computer project.

How about a delete video in the homepage subscription feed, we keep asking in feedback but nothing happens, also put friends lists, subscription and subscriber lists back how they were and whilst you're at it put the friends invite button back on channel pages. Lets not forget the old style video player and and playlists, this new style sucks big time and it would have been better to keep some of the old main channel features

The new Channel Design is soooo bad! No more individuality! The black box is so ugly. Before the new design everything was clear shown on one SINGLE page. Now you have to click about 3 times to see the "hidden" comment section! In web studies you can see that more clicking is worse for the hits. People don't want to click for such simple details!
I also wished for HTML Layouts so we can design free our sites! It should be "broadcast yourself"! Please chance something with the new design!

Thumbnails are too damn big, you can't see multiple videos at once without click a TINY "X more videos" link, only so many load up at once...this stinks.
It doesn't feel like a video-watching site, it feels like a Facebook feed...and that's NOT what I'm here for.

@yogatic You can still see your channel comments by going on Feed, and selecting comments only on the feed dropdown. However I did prefer it when it was all on one page :'(

You need to allow people to leave comments on channels. It will help the channels feel more like a community and less stark.
Also, support for Google Moderator would be nice, but I understand that not many people other than myself use it.

The previous layout where videos were grouped together according to the uploader was much more efficient and organized. Though the new layout may look more slick, it has sacrificed organization. It also favors those who upload several videos a day and as a result, the rich get richer and the poorer get no where
