Great audition video, straight to the point! I love the photos! Good luck in the contest. I look forward to defeating you humans in the challenges!

BTW, for product photog, look into a shift/tilt lens or a view camera (black bellow camera with sheet films). It allows very selective focus...such as along the plane or surface of a food box while allowing everything else to fall out of focus. It's a neat trick.

My reasoning...it's pretty cleaver, to cause a stir to generate traffic to back to my video. Clever, right? Okay, maybe not clever. Regardless, It's -not- in my personalty to trash talk other people...but, I needed to gain attention. So, my schtick was to be an "alien". It's not offensive, it's something a nutter would say...or a sci-fi geek.

I'm sorry, I'm not a trash talker. I can't put down strangers.

@theShaXNu I have no excuse, I'm a turd for not being in it. The real reason is, my friend owns a D90 and w 550D (Canon t1i). I wanted one of those to video me. He injured his back on July 4th weekend and I didn't see him till the 7th. Deadline was on the 8th. We were suppose to shoot HIS & mine on the 5th.

I got some old shots and some new shots, I made this video. That's the story.

1:14 is me, standing on top of the picnic table. I have a Kiev 60 in hand & d70s on timer.

Wait a moment "maikeru sama is good enough to not be defeated so easily. :D"? This sounds like a line from a typical manga. ¬.¬ I'm talking to more OTAKU.

Regardless, his shot of the watch is outstanding. The creme is nice, i'm hungry and his Pier picture is very nice. Wish I had a tripod.

i meant that it was unfortunate for you to have not had a chance to film anything for the competition..

as i've already stated.. maikeru sama won't fall to such an opponent so easily.. it is you who must exercise caution when facing him.. >=D

you should acquire a tripod so that you may also find it easier to use longer exposure times.. =D

@theShaXNu IF your Maikeru Sama or Sifu is as interesting as you, I think I would like him. He would surprise me if he didn't go for the competitor's throats; I'm going for everyone's throats. =D

I love a 200$ tripod; but, I'll use more light which is what I have in hand. Besides, ants don't stay still for tripods.

I want to remake my vid as an art piece just to show my vision...after all, I got Moby's permission to use one of his song. Can't disappoint him, right? =D

@kwanyinx this may come as a surprise, but maikeru sama is really not like that at all.. xD

even i may possibly be more of a "going for everyone's throats" kind of person..

nevertheless, that does not mean that he cannot defeat any opponent that confronts him in battle!

indeed, you cannot disappoint.. but i am sure you will be successful in your endeavour..
