If hes new don't worry he is just stessed but make sure you have every thing beardies love i would recommed a better flooring because carpet or rep carpet are dangerous when older because little fibers can make toes fall off

lol, my first guy was like that, wow you're bring back memories for me, but yeah like "tanman" said i bet you guys just got him and he does seem stressed, give your beardie a week and then try to pick him after, but also try to leave your hand inside the tank, just move your fingers or let it still, but it gets them used to the fact that you're gonna be there in his space often, if after that your beardie is still trying to bite you then whenever he opens his mouth then

put some greens in, that kinda gets them used to you hand feeding him, if you have anymore questions just ask, i'll be glad to help, but nice looking beardie you got :-D

I'm guessing you just got him? Let him sit for about a week to get used to his enclosure. He's gonna get stressed out if you keep trying to hold him. Plus feed him and let him watch you feed him.
