The city of Orem should be ashamed of themselves for arresting someone for not watering their lawn, especially the person being a great-grandmother?! `Family City Usa` is a misnomer.

who cares if she's a great-grandmother! she was violating a city ordinance and she was just going to be fined for it. she resisted a police officer and the cop had every right to arrest her. if a great-grandmother killed someone you would say she shouldn't be arrested? First of all to use the analogy you gave is ignorant, She didn`t kill someone and secondly she didn`t `resist` a police officer she just refused to give a police officer (in her own home) her name! And to arrest someone for a petty misdemeanor is insane! The nutcase city Orem WILL be paying a huge lawsuit settlement because they don`t have a leg to stand on in this case.

I totally agree with you it is so dumb that orem is taking her to court and it's a dumb law. The police officer must have been bored or mad because no sane police officer would inforce that rule. NOt to mention orem will lose tons of money in a dumb lawsuit.
