If any one doesn't already know this, I can tell you how to play that lick in basically any position on the neck and in any key you would like with A little practice. What hes doing is playing A scale high to low or in reverse. And thats all. Only difference is hes playing it in quads. Just take any scale you like and play it like this. 1234-2345-3456-6789. Just count 1234 over and over always starting at your last number 2. and make sure to pick up and down so your progression is good.
