It was game over at 16:38 when that scout found the high yield expansion base. If not for that the Protoss would have been producing pretty well and the game still would have been up in the air.

Not really, some units are better against certain types of other units, but that is something which is present in every RTS, and is something which enables different tactics.

Other then that, all the races are different, but theoretically no one is supposed to have any sort of advantage against any other race.

The game is still in alpha though...

Don't underestimate the Terrans. They have some serious priority in many situations. There was a reason why Slayer's Boxer was a Terran Player and that was because of their utility. To start off, they have the best mass damage (siege mode, Yamato Gun, Nuclear Missile) and they have bunkers. Science vessels are also dangerous to Protoss and Zerg alike. The Terran may be weak but it has brilliant micro potential.

Kinda too bad about never playing Starcraft. I played WC3 as well, but I was rather disappointed with it. It was quite a letdown after Starcraft, which remains to date the best RTS game Blizzard has ever produced. It looks like they're building on the success of SC and avoiding the mistakes of WC3 -- hope so, it will be nice for Blizzard to finally produce a worthy sequel to SC.

Far too early to make a statement like this, even if you have been lucky enough to play this at Blizzcon or another event. I think a lot of the SC1 die hards fear some of the changes they are seeing.

Anyway lucky for you Blizz has all ready said they are including all the tools necessary to make a replica of the original SC within there map editor

But there cant be a winner in this debate until SC2 has been out for 10+ years and see its position in the community as well as South Korea

well if they only listened to those that play the multiplayer and only focused on that then the story w
