Another point is, we did a lot of research. The seller had more than 98% positive feed back. We read all of his negative feed backs. Nothing seemed to be wrong.
You never know when something is going to go wrong, this is another message for the buyers.

Paypal is a very reasonable company. While it's true things like this DO happen, what the video creator is doing is trying to blame paypal for their own lack of research and greed. Next time, try researching the seller.

A better way to hurt eBay and Paypal is to continue to have an account, but conduct a sort of strike by not using your account from 7th of December, 2010 to 7th of January, 2011. Show them that users can interrupt their revenue flow.

I called them up and they gave me all these silly clues to what my email address was. It turned out that someone had changed it to sarah12042988. PayPal is bad for the seller also. I primarily sold popular t-shirts for a little over a year. During that time I had 3 claims of 'counterfeit merchandise' so that the buyer could get the stupid shirts for free. Now my PayPal account is suspended, and I still have 40 something days of a total of 180 days to withdraw the money I was saving. And seeing how eBay won't allow you to accept any other forms of payment, I just gave up on eBay... I had developed serious problems with their changes anyway

Read the user agreement carefully, especially sec 14, wherein they state that all services are "as-is" They also do NOT guarantee the ID of trading partners, nor that any transaction shall be successfully completed.

Pat-1 bought an item through ebay, but got the wrong item. filed paypal clain and won.
l shipped the item and provided paypal with a USPS signature confirmation # 2301 3460 0001 9797 3735
The item was delivered and singed for.
Paypal review the case and said that item was shipped to the wrong address(NOT TRUE) therefore you lost the case

When you click on "Steps to Resolve Your Case" on Step 5 it reads- PayPal will make every effort to recover funds but there is no guarantee of recovery.
DO NOT TRUST PAYPAL!!

Thanks for posting. Viewers should be aware that payPal offers NO guarntee whatsoever, only carefully crafted weasel words. Read the user agreement carefully, especially sec 14, wherein they state that all services are "as-is" They also do NOT guarantee the ID of trading partners, nor that any transaction shall be successfully completed.
If anyone remembers last summer, 2008 & the "Frerk Malte Feller affair" they will know that even the highest echelon of eb-pp execs do NOT trust paypal. ;p
