At this time both guys were putting one another over and it was working like a charm. At the end of the match the fans a) Loved Hogan more than they did before and b) Hated Ventura more than before. I'm sure the were selling out arenas in the MidWest for months running this program between the two.

Sure there was a little bit of that in the old wrestling matches but that's because people had signature moves.

It's not nearly to the extent that it is today. At the beginning of each match I can say to myself "Okay there's only a couple ways this could turn out.". Why? Because they sacrificed creativity for streamlined. What's more boreing? Something a bit slower paced but rarely the same, or something that's a little faster paced and almost always the same?

He laid off many state employees back in late 1999/ 2000 and also eliminated many IT(information technology) projects from within the state relm, thus eliminating many jobs from IT companies, one of them I lost my job on down the line. And that is why you'll never amount to anything. Do you understand movies, TV shows? It's drama. The goal is to "sell" the match as realistically as possible (not easy to do, but with the more "hardcore" style these days, it comes off a tad more "realistic"). Kayfabe (google it) is dead. Promoters and wrestlers do not try and sell pro wrestling as anything other than entertainment these days. You'll even hear wrestlers talk about planned outcomes/finishes to matches on DVDs. the reason jesse hates hogan is because back in the 80's jesse wanted the wrestlers to have a union and bruno sammartino was apart of this and hogan shot it down because he was making millions along with vince and neither of those 2 at that time cared about anyone but themselves.
