Why would you drop in vert if you don't Sk8? Then say Sk8'n isn't fun b/c you busted your ass? You should of jumped up and said, "THAT WAS F"N AWESOME!" I Sk8 and Snowboard. I bust my ass doing both, especially if it's a new trick. If you had never Sk8ted vert before you NEVER, EVER, drop in from the top! Haven't you ever seen the video where everyone talks the drunk hillbilly into dropping in and he knocks himself out cold? 1st time ever on a vert that will happen 99.8% of the time.
1st time ever on a vert that will happen 99.8% of the time if you drop in from the top. Unless it's one of those shallow beginners ramps. the I give it a 85% chance to fail. 50% if your a Street Sk8ter that already knows how to use your board. But even if you're a good Street Sk8ter and have never "Dropped in" before on a pro vert ramp your back @ 99.8% chance of faceplanting. If you don't want to kill yourself start @ the bottom and work your way up to where your getting air......
....That will show you the angle and your "lean". That's about the angle and lean you need to drop in from the top. Do that for AWHILE to get that feeling down of where you should be when you "drop in". The more you practice getting air just over the lip and landing it the more your Faceplant % will slowly drop. Even after all of that, I'm still betting on the faceplant. :D lmao

Just don't attempt tricks that you know are plain stupid b/c other ppl (most likely idiots that have bashed their head on the curb 1 to many times and just want to see you make an ass out of yourself in front of everybody b/c they have.) Like the dumb ass in this video. What made it worse is he walked away from the sport b/c of it and cried about the ground being hard. lmao. How sad. Sk8ing is a sport that culls the stupid ones out pretty fast. Smart ones Sk8 for life then teach their kids
...... If I ever see a kid try'n to drop in and he's never done it before. I'm take'n his board and beat'n all the kids asses that's egg'n him on to do it! You can get someone crippled or killed being that stupid. Sk8'n is fun and is not as hard as it looks IF you use your brain and work your way up and think all the tricks you want to pull off thru. And when you do fall, just get up and think about what you did wrong and try it again, and again till you land it. Easy enough.
