it was live...the video was a lil out of sync, but the audio from performances are always recorded separately through the mixer and his mic from the video so even if the interview was in sync, the performance may be a lil off. but i didnt notice much.

plus they recorded the performance in march but did the interview live

if ur wondering about lil voice and techno effects, theyre prerecorded beatboxing or effects filters created LIVE from his loop pedals, the keyboard, and his kaoss pad.

he has a jazz vibe so he needed somin to make his voice suit the song
