... why does everyone always diss the bass and the drums?! These instruments take just as much, and in MOST cases, more skill that a guitar does... Guitar's, yes have more strings, but you can only play them in about two says, tapping and picking, with a bass you can slap, finger, pick, pluck, tap and above all keep the rhythm. The drums are difficult, however easy it may look, it takes an immense amount of dedication to become HALF as good as the drummer in this video.

@Debilolog yes, Smith has a nice "In-pocket-play" he said that himself, that he wants to leave as much room for John and Flea to play as possible! But still, Fantin is a great drummer too and he is NOT Smith, which is good, because it gets annoying if someone is trying to hard to be someone else!

And David is a god on the bass too, he'll be as good/better as/than Flea in a few years, believe me. He only plays for like a few years, Flea plays for centuries (he's still a bass-god though!)
