I was out on the range at World Golf and he was out there giving a demo and lesson on long irons and he chose a two iron for showing how many balls you could fit under a bed sheet at 245 yards away...totally amazing and much respected talent. I will never forget what that looked like for as long as I live and play golf!
People are making money off of your vertical swing Calvin. Time for you to start your own website and sell a system like Don Trahan is and and calls it the Peak Performance Golf Swing. It should be the Calvin Peete swing!
I sat beside Calvin on a plane this past week (Apr 2010) from Jacksonville, FL to Norfolk, VA. We had the best conversation and I didn't even know who he was.
He and Trevino were my favorites in the 80's because they got it on their own and didn't grow up in the "country-club" atmosphere so prevalent in most pro golfers. The dude just exuded style.
I was at a PGA lesson at World Golf Village and Calvin hit about 50 balls with a 2 iron out to about 220-225 yards and you could have covered them all with a bedsheet...He is truly amazing to watch and is one of the nicest guys in the game and in life! God Bless You Calvin!!

Most accurate player ever... Didn't hit it long, but never missed fairways or greens.

Calvin you always have my respect. Although I didnt get "into" golf until the early 90s, I studied and respected its history. Your the man.
