In Korea, a common street food are boiled silkworm larvae. They take a bit of getting used to, but they are DELICIOUS! They got to be one of my favorite food. I started eating them at least three or four times a week, once I realized you can get them in cans at the supermarket. I probably have twenty cans in my kitchen. Mmmmmmm.

Only downside is my wife hates the smell and refuses to kiss me after I eat them. :( Most young Koreans are disgusted by them. They prefer hamburgers. Sad, sad, sad.

i heard peanut butter has bugs in it, too -- there is an allowable parts per billion that is deemed ok by the FDA. not sure how many other U.S. foods have bugs of some kind in them, but it sure does make the U.S. taboo on antemophagy (bug eating) seem silly, except for allergies. also, about 80% of the worlds ppl eat bugs, which makes us weird for NOT eating them. i personally have never conciously eaten a bug, but if ever they were served to me, i'd try it.
