what color did you use on it... it looks darker then when you turned it

I used Watco Danish Oil on the ornament body. It is transparent but the oil darkens the wood as though it was wet.

Great job Bob.  Too much content to comment on but all very useful indeed, especially seeing cutting edge presentation in delicate situations.
