The name of the musical is "THE GAY DIVORCEE". Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers starred in the TERRIFIC film version, which features Cole Porter's "NIGHT and DAY" as it's centerpiece and featured dance number.....Probably the only version of the song that is the equal to many of Frank Sinatra's renditions. This was one of Frank's handful of favorite tunes.....
