What pitch are you tuned in? My guitar is in tune, but every note I hit that you hit does not sound like yours. You must be tuned in a different pitch.

@nickeywhitfield obviously you don't knw srv!..this is a srv inspired lesson thus tuning down half a step..if you gunna teach Stevie you can't play standard tuning cause he never hardly ever played in standard..so yea don't hate appreciate

amazing- lessons from one of my favourite guitarists? yes please!!! this is so cool. actually, i've stumbled across this because i'm trying to work out how you guys played 'superstition'. i've got the riff down etc, but your rhythm parts are what i really want to suss, so there's a suggestion? it's that 'SRV' vibey rhythm stuff (think couldn't stand the weather, lovestruck etc.), and the chord shapes that you find best that i'd be really interested in learning. sorry if a bit amateurish?!

My request would be a vid where you talk us true the gear that you use live. (like on the Hoax tour last year in the Netherlands). I know there allready is one somewhere on youtube but the kwality is BAD! So, guide us true the things that you would pick if you could only choose one guitar, one amp(or two), and a few pedals maybe, and still get that sound of yours. I think i'm not the only one who's interested in that.

Actually my problem is mainly with the right hand. (pick or no pick, up or down?) Often people do not do the same thing when they play fast or slow, what about you?

And while you ask, I would be very interested to have a vid about Jimi's outro on johnny b goode (berkeley version).

I realy like that sound the cable makes. I always use thick cables for a thick sound and thin cables for a more thin sound...and a blue coloured for blues of course.
