please let this work for me...i'm importing files now, i have 3 minute clips of assassins creed and they are each about 3 to 4 Gb :( it takes 5 hours to upload 1 clip >.< blaa
Well you see, the thing is, is that with AVI files, they are very large files, larger than WMV files and everything. AVI files are enlarged from the original file, so they take much longer to upload on youtube. However, when you upload an AVI file on to youtube, it comes with the high quality option. :)

I had to wait 8 hours to upload a 2 minute video to YouTube.
an AVI File as well.

If your video is in HD it takes 1-2 hours to upload 16 minute video, If I take my camera off HD the audio is horrible.

Using movie maker converts avi files to wmv file extension. Although this does compress the file it reduces the resolution especially for HD formats.

You think 30 min is long? Try 7 hours for a 8 min simple video as wmv, Settings werent that high.
