It's way too low for her and it is very strained. Leona is a high soprano and has no business trying to go near Eb3, in the studio with layers it's just passable but when she's live, anything below about A3 sounds absolutely awful. Same with belting, anything above E5 is just strained, weak, pitchy and pathetic live.
Someone needs to tell Leona to stop pretending to be a big voice diva because she isn't, all she's doing is damaging her voice. her voice won't last ten years if she keeps up

They are both good albums, but i prefer echo, the songs are stronger and it has a better variety of tracks.

Whitney wrote nothing at her peak? That's why she wrote Queen of the Night, which was on The Bodyguard soundtrack.
And yes, the songs on Echo were crappy. Can Leona produce music or arrange vocals? Nope. So writing mediocre songs doesn't mean she's more talented than Whitney.
Whitney is 46 years old, and she took drugs for almsot two decades. Why would you be comparing her NOW to Leona? That's dumb.

Just to clarify, Leona co-produced many songs on the album.
Anyway there is no point in us arguing about musical taste. Its all about preference. I can admit that Whitney is the best vocalist of all time and i appreciate how talented she is, i just don't like her music.
Out of all of her CD's i think I look to you is the best.
I just prefer Leona and her songs, there isn't anything wrong with that and the songs arn't crap because you say so, you just don't like them.

It's way too low for her and it is very strained. Leona is a high soprano and has no business trying to go near Eb3, in the studio with layers it's just passable but when she's live, anything below about A3 sounds absolutely awful. Same with belting, anything above E5 is just strained, weak, pitchy and pathetic live.
Someone needs to tell Leona to stop pretending to be a big voice diva because she isn't, all she's doing is damaging her voice. her voice won't last ten years if she keeps up
