I was there :)!!! Except I wan't there for the open call I was there for the second half of the try-outs, I tried out in Oregon. and I know how frustrating it was to not know the location till last minute, I drove there from Oregon haha frustrating!

Well yeah, you gotta be tall when youre a model, thats what theyre looking for, if youre too short you wont get booked.

and that was it...how are you supposed to shine with just that... :( well regardless I just wanted to confirm that after the second round there were some gorgeous girls in there with me that I thought would make it but didn't...and I honestly think it was because of their height...I am 5'2 and made the first round but after that they were only choosing the taller girls ... 5'5 5'6 and 5'7...

Hey :) I just wanted to let you guys know that I went out to the casting in LA...and yes you're right they were picking the taller of the shorter girls...I actually made the first round .... the same one where the cute British guy picked the girls and then within the second round he told us to let our personalities shine but when we got into the second room where there was the casting director (Nicole) and a video camera...they said don't say "Hi my name is..." Just state your name age & height

you're right. as i was getting in line, most of the girls who walked out said that they were only choosing the taller girls. and i witnessed myself that they only picked the "stereotypical" model-like girls (tallest and skinny) in there. it was pretty lame. they didn't even look at most of the shorter girls' faces as she was stating her name, age, height. the whole thing itself "claimed" to take 5'7 girls and under. total bullshit!

I think they should of said if there was an height minimum. I hope to see a varied height selection in the final group. Who knows you may find your way in there. Good Luck!
