This is part of the bonus maps where you can try and complete the map as fast as you can. It's not a cheat, try it yourself if you don't believe it. It's hard to get right, but it's possible.

It was a glitch. The land before that lift is un-portallable but thats where u seem to pop up. I guess it's becauseu shot the portal while in portal or you use the mode that u can portal anywhere.

@Gizill Try this chamber again, and you will see that the floor is portalable. I did it the same way and got 9 seconds. You just have to be very fast.

lol i set my mind to doing this and after about 30-40 tries i got to 5 secodns, then another 10 more and I got it on vid, and today I tried again and after 20 more tries I got 4 seconds on vid. Took about an hour and a half to two hours.

Make's sense to me. The yellow portal puts you upside down near the lift; and there is just enough time (as you come out upside down) to move forward as you come out of the yellow portal onto the platform which leads to the elevator. Kudos!
