yeah i agree its getting really freighting, on a Euro talk show yesterday, when it was suggested that the break up of the Euro may have to come about, the German representative openly threaten that they would pull all manufacturing out of the UK and impose a kind of trade embargo against us, if we didn't tow the line of the Eurozone. threats don't with the british especially from Germany.

Fabian do you think a Bank Run could occur in the US ? My question stems from the fact that the Treasury can Print money non-stop. This being the case, actual "paper" will always be plentiful...... It may be worth NOTHING, but there will always be plenty of paper dollars floating around.
@notpcone The more money that is printed, the more the dollar loses value. You may right in that there will be enough dollars even during a bank run but how much will the dollars being able to buy as time goes on.

I think that revolutions never occur, unless they need to occur. What I mean is, everyone knows our federal debt is unsustainable. But until the day comes that people stop buying bonds, then nothing will really change. You could shout and teach people about fiscal responsibility until you are blue... but until people need to listen, then they won't. The time is coming for when people need to listen. What we need to do is make sure the coming change is similar to 1776, and not 1917.

What we need to do is make sure the coming change is similar to 1776, and not 1917.
