Almost 20 years ago, SRS and Infinity (easy spin) broke all of the difficulty of Tetris and it has generally gone downhill. Tetris DS and the TGM series are the only games with SRS and 20G that also limited the effects of easy spin.

@FoxxNightingale I haven't played this one, but I think some versions of Tetris reach the point where the blocks no longer fall and they just appear at the bottom and you only have 1-2 secconds to place the block. In a typical game of Tetris, when the block reaches the very bottom after falling, you can still move it for a second before it finally "plants" itself. This video seems to be at that point already where the blocks are no longer falling and are just appearing at the bottom.

@beigemore played this at a friends house once or twice, he usually doesn't let me play any of his consoles in case I destroy his scoreboard XD but yeah, the pieces have infinite rotate until still where they have a 0.2 second plant gap. in the original gameboy DMG version on the equivalent level (20) the number of rotations wasn't taken into account yet the pieces had roughly a 0.15 second (moving) plant. so it doesn't really matter if the blocks appear at the bottom of the screen anyways :3

Damn, and I thought I was doing good on level 29 i think 229 lines (?) and the blocks shot out of the top of the frame WAY faster than this showed...plus the blocks turned black and grey...hmm....and that was on SNES back in the stone-age....good times. They don't play other ones, it's just *that one*, and they practice religiously.
