War Ron Van Clief..cant believe he called it. This sport is going to continue to grow and become as big or bigger than some of the national sports in America.
this guy is a bad dude.i have been in the martial arts community in n.y. for 30 years and this guy had rep for being a no nonsense type of guy in the ring or on the streets.i heard alot of stories about this guy kicking ass on the streets of n.y.,especially in the lower east side of manhattan.
@boxing404 Yeah, I had the pleasure of meeting him back in the day. At 67, the man is like Jack Lalane for martial arts. As a karate man and aspiring fitness professional, I have a lot to learn from him. I heard when he fought Gracie he broke his ankle a week before, but no way that was stopping him.

He should be elected to the UFC Hall of Fame as a builder of the sport. He was also the commissioner of the UFC in the early 90's.
