  • Recorded on July 2, 1935, and originally released on Brunswick 7498. Billie is singing with Teddy Wilson's studio band [her first session with him], which consisted of:

    Teddy, piano

    Benny Goodman, clarinet

    Ben Webster, sax

    Roy Eldridge, trumpet

    John Kirby, bass

    John Trueheart, guitar

    Cozy Cole, drums

    ..and a jazz legend is born!
