The veracruz is a nice ride, but honestly, lets be honest here, you're getting "Lexus" luxury for way cheaper. That means that Hyundai cut corners somewhere to give it to you for cheap, they probably used cheap parts and materials in places where it isn't evident at first glance. The veracruz is the type of vehicle that looks and rides nice for the first year or two then all those cheap parts start breaking down and cheap material start wearing out and you're stuck doing repairs.
it may be a great SUV in the US but the korean version has more options and has a 2.9 diesel but its not weak at its peak I think it makes around 360 horsepower while US version has 260 hp
