the more I listen to his works, the more it gives to me. The songs are getting deeper and deeper. I've heard a lot of beautiful music, but this has never happened to me before. some classical composers' works need lots of listening to actually understand but you can get the whole after a while and it's there, it's yours. Ólafur's ones don't seem to have an end like that. do you feel it too?

Well, normally, I listen to the sickest, most depressive(and atmospheric) black metal, among other genres(death metal, (black) ambient, etc.), but this kind of music also achieves to touch my heart.. If you had a better understanding of music, then maybe it wouldn't to you. It employs different rhythms, dynamics, notes, and many other things. It most all uses similar instruments and no voice, so to someone who listens primarily to more popular genres may not be able to sense the differences between in his pieces. Personally I really enjoy his style of composition.
