Forced reality is probably the third most respected us oi band of the 80's after anti-heros and arresting officers, so it isn't a surprise that he likes it, I was never a big fan of them, but I like that vinnie covers it instead of some overrated uk song.

Hey man. I loved Forced Reality actually...it's a pity they aren't around anymore. Anti-Heros definitely as one of the most respected American Oi! bands...and my beloved Arresting Officers too...leanings and all lol. Patriot, Niblick Henbane and YDL I would also include in those ranks. I also think it's great that Stigma covers this instead of, say, "England Belongs To Me" as well lol. Huzzah for American Oi!

Bruisers and US Chaos have a large following.

And the Press started Sharp, but they kinda just jacked the UK sound and weren't as exciting as the other bands to me. Plus their vocalist is now a priest in the Church of Satan and plays in a terrible new band that's mannaged by Gary Bushell....

Anyways, fuck it, Stigma rocks! Way to go Vinnie!

Haha I was never really into Iron Cross actually. They just struck me as a crappy hardcore band, rather than Oi! Bruisers were amazing, and U.S. Chaos had some good songs as well.

I have to say though, I have always hated that Commie band the Press and, by extension, that awful band Maninblack and its bullshit Satanic leanings. Gal Bushell is a cool guy though. I have been a fan of the Gonads for several years. Just good, clean, old school British Oi!

I agree entirely. I like a couple Iron Cross songs but overall they're nothing that special, despite that everyone kisses their asses for being the first US oi band.

None of Andre Schlesinger's bands from NYC are any good, he is a horrible musician and only gets worse with time. Man in black is probably the worst "oi band" to ever perform in NYC. The synthesizers seal the deal.

The Gonads is a decent oi band. "Back and Barking" is a good album

Yeah Iron Cross...I mean hell, it was only AF that made "Crucified" famous lol. Andre IS a horrible musician. I don't even have anything against synths if it's like...Powerpop or Bowie or the old Mod Revival stuff...but that stuff is crap. Back and Barking is excellent too...What's The Story England's Glory is my favorite track off of that album. You can't blame Gal Bushell for managing a shit band either lol.

Isn't this a cover of Forced Reality "Unheard, Unreleased, and Under the Boot"? Too bad Pete sold out his band mates and started distributing their material in "alternate" forms without giving them a cut like they deserve. Unfortunately, they don't have a penny between them to do anything about it.
