He's right, but not just for the Dead. Look at an old picture. When it was taken, it might have been a terrible day, but then you look back and think 'those were the days'. Or maybe the other way around. But perception in the moment, and then looking back, can be two entirely different things.
This is from a documentary? If so, which one and is it available somewhere? I've always loved to hear Jerry's perceptions, especially about music. Thanks.

Saw wed and sunday nights of that run at winterland before they took a break . Anthem to Beauty DVD is spectacular !!!!! My 1st show was closing of the fillmore west . Saw em every year from 71 to 95 cept 78 when I did see Garcia Band with K and Donna and Maria Maulder .did a lot of Cats Under the Stars which Is my favorite JG album . was his and Donna Gs also
