  • i'm a woman, my mind diversifies toward many things, but i can focus in one whit a little effort, woman are naturally multy task, but man can only do one thing, and for that is more easy for man only concentrate on one thing, and if a man try to do more things at the same time he gets angry, like listening to tv and to his wife, this makes him very angry, or do one investigation work and also focus on others shores is very hard for them, only one thing at a time for man, woman 5 + at time. ;)

  • That's right. Sometimes women do many tasks simultaneously with high-power concentration. At that time, I can not but admit that there is some gap between men and women treating many works at the same time.

  • I can focus on my study with music on. when I start to play music, I recognize music but soon music become a background sound which doesn't disturb me. In my case it's okay to hear some sound when I study. It seems that Some sound makes me concentrate on my study much better.

  • In my case, I'm not able to study with listening music. I read in my textbook about a study shows us that classic music could help us to concentrate on sth, but the best music for study is silence.

  • yeah. you're ji-sung. whatever.

    personally, that(means listen to music

whe I was studying) doesn't disturb

me at all. you know why?

man that's ez! Coz I never study haha

  • THANKS !!!!

  • For me it depends on which music it is. If it has words, I need to not know them or know them by heart. If I only know some of the words I'm distracted by trying to learn the rest of the song! I find electronica and hip-hop very helpful for working and studying because of its beat. It's also helpful for me to listen to the same music for certain subjects and then listen to it again before the exam- it helps me remember what I studied!

  • How did you know that I moved to other room? Anyway, actually I have difficulty of doing two works simultaneously. So I generally turn off the radio during study. I can't use music as a catalyst.

  • I really like music, it makes me relaxed and happy but when i study it prevents me from focusing on my works.

  • Ji-sung! Have you just moved to other room?

Anyway, in my case I love to listen to music but when I need to study, I even try to forget the melody flowing in my mind.

  • Yes, sometimes music can remove my stress but, I'd rather study without it.
